Later today they are going to add in the Discussion Channels into the LA Discord, works similar to how the forums here work.
So for fun, lets make a list of the threads we’ve all discussed and have feedback/discussions around that still matter today.
It’ll just be the original Post itself not the entire discussion that went along with it.
No hella negative or super toxic threads, since well… they’ll just get deleted anyway.
But as a fun way to preserve some of the forums history and also to continue the discussions we still have ongoing every day I ask the remaining 9 or so Forum Andies out there:
THREADS ON THE LOST ARK MARKET API. Make our lives easier please.
Threads on the 20 item Auction House limit. If not removed, should optimally scale based on item level, roster level, number of characters, or pretty much any other metric etc etc.
Threads on lowering pheon costs on rng items like stones, tripods, and bracelets, or from mailing it to your own characters.
Threads on dead horizontal content that make it impossible for newer players to catch up, like co-op islands and unas or fixing rng drops from field bosses that people cannot kill by themselves and might take 100 separate kills to actually receive.
Threads on overwhelming (boring) daily homework for people who play multiple characters.
I don’t have links but I’m sure someone will find a good one and you might even know some of them off the top of your head.
I think most people did or just completely gave up on it; I tried to make a new topic recently to bring some light back on to the subject but it didn’t get much traction. I’m still coping for it one day. Would also be really good for new players who are often confused or can easily make mistakes when building their 5x3s for the first time.
Other topics that came to mind
Mileage Shop - regardless on your thoughts on whaling, the Mileage shop would have been a great way to encourage legit spending through royal crystals instead of RMTing.

i suspect that at least for most less popular regions, Market API would mostly bring the grim realization that there aren’t that many players left. Think about the times you tried to make a build and there were very little acessory options for sale, or just one massively expensive one sitting alone there. i heard this many times from friends and experienced it myself as an SA player.
Its not a lack of expertise when trying to assemble a build. but rather simply the lack of enough acessories for sale. KR has what, 100k players? but they are all in the same region, and pretty far into late game. Ancients and relics are common. Our situation is a bit different.
getting trusted status for sure, I think it’s very, very bad system for new players, when you setup 2FA and get trusted on steam you have to wait for a very long time to get trusted in lost ark, I am currently waiting for 97 days since they told me I met all requirements and I am still restricted.
before you could get it in like 2-3 weeks with new account, they changed it so now you have to wait for a long time, amazon support lead even told me once that you HAVE TO spend money to get trusted status:
It’s a complete shi1tshow, no one knows how the system works, I know this is a problem for a small percentage of players but new players quit the game over this. They think it’s free to play, they can’t use market, they see they have to pay, they feel betrayed and quit the game.
Also another one: buff drop rates of outdated content. As a new player it’s pretty fast to get to 1445-1460 now, and you have to do moake for omnium star, and I don’t want to farm moake for 3 months just to get omnium star when I can do other bosses. There are also some dead islands that require other people for you to get island soul (illusion I think), not my personal experience but I read that’s the case. Just like how they speed up gearing and item level process and I think they should speed up/buff other important things that you have to get in game.
