Disruptive Weekly Maintenance

Would it be possible to not take down servers for maintenance right before weekly reset? There are a lot of things to do in the game and some things are for sure going to be left for last minute.

If the servers go down before weekly reset and only come back up after weekly reset, it gives players the impression that although they had time in theory to do their tasks, they are not given the opportunity to do so.

For Instance, I was working on a project all night trying to get it out of the way and was planning to do some of my daily and weekly quests in the morning. I logged in only to be kicked out three hours before reset for a server maintenance. It just leaves a bitter feeling that could be avoided if maintenance were to occur after the reset so as to not be as disruptive since one would still have the reset of the week available,

I also have a suggestion that would effectively not have players scrambling to do tasks at the risk of missing out on content. It would be nice to track all daily and weekly activities on a calendar in order to give players the opportunity to perform them outside of that day or week and claim the rewards. That way players who may have been indisposed due to real life factors could catch up whenever they can devote time to the game.

The way the system is implemented now basically has us in a loop coming back daily so we dont miss out on anything. Not everyone has time to devote themselves to the game entirely.

This isnt a real post is it?

Hmm, maybe, I don’t know, don’t leave things to the last minute? You have a whole week to do your weekly tasks.

An entire week isn’t enough of an opportunity to complete your tasks?

There’s a reason it’s called a “gameplay loop”. Second, stop with the FOMO.
