Once had to turn down a support because they had the most disgusting looking bard I have ever seen and I still haven’t seen anything worse.
I don’t pay attention to total stats, only that the distribution is done right because sometimes you can’t see the total stats due to no pet buff etc. Also it’s more important that the person knows the mechs than has a bit more or less of their main/sub stats than the other guy.
I said if everything other than attack power is the same. That means engravings are the same as well. Just how did u even read what I wrote? And yes if someone honed their weapon to +25 instead of going +21 on each, they might reach it. There are many people that went for +25 weapon and +20 armor.
Edit : Also thats why wd needs her wind’s whisper. Wind’s whisper increases %45 attack power, which is the most important skill on wd’s skill set due to how much dmg it gives. If attack power wasnt so important, wd’s skill wouldnt be used as well since it gives %45(12k or something for 26k attack power, double the amount we talking)
Personally I prioritise stats and engravings (doesn’t have to be meta, just have to make sense for the class) and sometimes gems depending on class. Yes it would be nice to have a few overgeared players in the party but it’s not enough reason to exclusively gatekeep by ilvl.
Unfortunately it seems the more common case is that people choose ilvl and build over anything else. You often seen higher ilvl people getting accepted over lower ilvl ones, and burst classes favoured over consistent dps classes.
Most people who make their mains and alts characters are default ones, ugly monstrosities, and no sense of fashion whatsoever, Christ have mercy on us.
- Gear score
- Engraving
- Gem
- Weapon (cuz some have 1520gs but have +20normal relic weapon), insta decline this type of dps
No, his skin was like gross ass drowned purple with head antenna and weird makeup. Pretty sure they set out to make the grossest char they could.
You qualified everything being the same AFTER in response to what he said. The original point seemed to be someone could technically have more AP but not actually do more damage overall even assuming equal skill level, which is true. Granted, a 6k discrepancy is pretty big to use as an example.
Like on Shock Scrapper you can run Grudge/Keen Blunt/Ambush Master/Adrenaline/Shock Training prior to 5x3+2 when people tend to run Adren 2 and CD. Someone who is running CD and/or Mass Increase along w/ unconventional engravings could have more AP and same weapon level, gem levels, quality, etc. yet end up doing not as much overall damage w/ similar uptime because the scaling through their skills is different and how their engravings work in conjunction with their kit is different. Raw AP is not a great indicator on its own, which seemed to be the main point and why being able to identify what’s a ‘good’ setup quickly for classes is beneficial considering there are multiple factors. I assume we’re not just talking about discrepancies between the SAME class+build here.
not necessarly, there are engraving that add attack power and others that don’t, for example taking KBW instead of CD doesn’t mean it’s less dps even though CD will add more AP
i check the weapon first in Kal eligos party find , must be at last +23 80 qual +
Yeah sure, this absolutely isnt BEFORE his response, right? I’m pretty sure I time travelled here.
Like seriously, what do you guys even read with ?
“if everything is same numbers other than attack power”
Your sentence is misleading. easy to think you are talking about the stats swiftness crit and spec because you said “numbers”. People dont usually mention engravings as numbers.
Just as misleading as looking at attack power while picking someone up.
I read normally but i wonder what you type with, probably not your hands.
Lmao.
He literally said “Spec/swift/crit aside, having 32k atk power over 26k doesnt mean much. It could actually be a very trash build that has im+cd”
You THEN responded, hence AFTER, with “32k attack power over 26k does matter a lot if everything is same numbers other than attack power. Its the base damage of your character.”
YOU made that qualifier and used “numbers” to represent engravings too? The point still stands, AP alone isn’t a good indicator and there are multiple factors to consider. You can have less AP yet still do more overall damage played equally. As mentioned, an example using Keen Blunt over CD/Mass Increase in various builds. Or if someone tried combining CD+MI they could have a ton of attack power but be missing a key engraving to their build as a result that still results in less overall DPS.
His original point obviously was not if it’s the same exact advanced class with the same quality, stat distribution, ENGRAVINGS, gems etc. that AP doesn’t matter. Obviously in that case it would matter because at that point you’re just much higher ilvl / have higher weapon level. So your response is moot to begin with.
I compared those that got +25 weapon with +20 armor to +21 on all. Its almost same ilvl but attack power will differ a lot, as well as damage.
You sound butt hurt. My reaper is 1490 and sometimes gets a group mostly not i just match make. Relax you will have more hair when you are 40.
Oh I dont have any problem. I have static for every content.
But we can see the lobbies and its ridiculous.
Interesting that you have a static for Karl.
who the heck even party finder cali?
I have matchmaked it for the past 2? weeks and it has been just fine.
at that point you are just gate keeping yourself by using party finder.
Why is it so interesting that I have friends?
easy answer
they are not
hard pill to swallow
sometimes people are looking for synergies and unless you are so overgeared for people to disregard your synergy you will be denied
