Do people who complain about honing and gold even play the game?

I mean puffco is AGS astroturf employee but your math is so bad and wrong. 2k raw gold is 4 clicks if you’re at 1400(on a weapon). You don’t even generate enough mats for 1 click on weapon in 1 day that takes at least 3-4 days. if you’re below 1370 it cost maybe 500 gold/day to hone if you’re not selling all your mats.

Oh, i was assuming you’re buying the mats or using event mats.

If you’re buying the mats ya ain’t a f2p player anyways lol so what does it matter? If you’re gonna spend go big or go home.

Yea, I already know most people won’t believe it or complain about something but there’s quite a number of ways to make gold but most won’t put in any effort

Lots of people built up a fortune selling mats to RMT randies at the beginning and started honing seriously just now and eventually they run out of gold.

Otherwise, you can just balance your gold gained with extra honing mats with respect to the cost of honing.

I buy mats all the time, if you consider skins as mats.

Still shouldn’t be running out of gold if people built up a fortune. Honing is cheap until 1385+. Buying mats and running out of gold is the player’s fault not the game.

Think about it this way smart ass. If those people don’t complain and instead take your advice the price of all mats would be 1g because of the oversupply. You only make money because they don’t make alts and sell mats. You want people to complain about making alts because that’s the only way for you to make a profit.

Not really, if others wanna make alts it wouldn’t affect me. There’s always other ways to make gold and legion raids in the future provide more gold to those who have more alts

Yeah then inflation hits hard and those gold generated become worth less and less. This is why it’s dumb to encourage others to make alts.

the game literally hands out more than enough free gold to push to t3 on 1 character, especially since it costs around 977 gold on average without using any additional materials

if you can’t earn 1k gold along your journey to t3 idk what you’re doing

I’m not sure if you understand how economics works, but if gold gets inflated then the economy just adjusts.

The only positive is it decreases the amount of pain for honing cost + guild donation due to fixed prices.

Economy doesn’t just adjust especially not when income is fixed. Works even worse in real life economics. I’m sure the economy is adjusting real well to the current inflation lmao.

actually just for reference can you tell me your routine? i have 2 t3 characters, 2 t2 and 1 t1, i can probably get another to t3 this week at least, but i want to know what setup i need to make gold for.

im obviously already maxing out ulna’s tasks for the gold, and running abysalls weekly, what else can i add to make more gold?

Yea I’m just gonna stop here. It seems you have no idea what you’re talking about so this is a waste of my time.

At the end of the day, there’s going to be players just like people who are smarter financially and are able to make good decisions on how to invest their gold/money.

That’s just how MMOs work.

Which was done for a strategic reason to prevent early inflation. Which is why they reduced gold cost of honing significantly compared to other regions. Theyre fixing a problem that was in the game when they were at the same timeline of content.

Our version doesn’t have nerfed gold(it does have lower honing gold cost). KR has the nerfed gold.

You just get them to 1340 and do abyssal dungeons. For reference, 3 T3 alts generates 4.5k gold a week just from abyssal dungeons alone. Which exlcudes your main. Argos gives 2700 gold a week(Up to P3). Hardmode abyss is like… 1800 I think? Then you have unas chest from weeklies which is another 1200-1300 gold.

You should’ve stopped when you said “the economy just adjusts”. Did you get that line from the FED 6 months before they apologized and said alright the economy doesn’t just adjust and inflation is out of hand?

I will since you asked so kindly.

Currently, certain content is has more value due to the deflation our economy is experiencing. Islands such as Medeia island that used to not be worth doing is now a decent option as it provides 570G on clear. What this means, based on calculation is that you should always do this island when available.

The rest of the islands you should be doing is the pirate coin reward islands. You generate around 4500 Pirate Coins per completion and 6 boxes of 100x Sun Coins. This can be converted to 12000 Pirate Coins at the sea merchant. Total would be 16500 Pirate Coins in one adventure run. This is huge on weekends where you can do 2 adventure islands in one day meaning even a possible 33000 pirate coins in one day.

If you are to hone every day aggressively, you are not going to make gold. That’s just how this game works. You need to sell the mats that are tradable and use the bound mats to enhance. If you play this way, I guarantee you will save enough gold in the long run to enhance when mats are cheaper in the future. It’s inevitable due to supply from more players hitting T3 or having more alts in T3.

Every week on reset, the Sea Merchant sells Blue + Red mats that cost 16200 Pirate Coins.
Blue Stones = 90 x 70 = 6300 Pirate Coins
Destruction Stones = 330 x 30 = 9900 Pirate Coins
Total = 16200 Pirate Coins to max out Sea Merchant for Blue + Red Stones in 1 run.

Total Gold = 900 Blue Stones = Average 720 gold, 300 Red Stones = Average 600 gold.
Total 1320 Gold

This is just on one character that can be completed by 1 adventure pirate coin island a week.
Now with 6 characters at T3, you could generate 7920G just off this Sea Merchant alone with no effort at all if you DO have the alts. That’s why alts are good investments in this game.

Add that in with Medeia Islands completed whenever it’s available, you should be able to make 10k off just doing adventure islands.

This is just from 1 content. There is also selling mats from Chaos Dungeon/Guardian Raid leaps in T3 that can make you huge amounts of gold over the week.

Then with Gold Injection from clearing Abyss Dungeons. There’s also many ways to make gold from the Stronghold. One specific item will most likely go in value in the upcoming future.

For those who have gold in hand, they can invest in certain items that always spike on reset. If you watch the market a lot, you can make a solid 2k-5k just from flipping items depending on the day of the week.

You also get Una Pouches, able to purchase 2 500 cost pouches each week.

That’s minimum 2400G.

Now imagine if you saved 20k a week (should be able to save more if you do everything) and just used honing on bound mats.

In 1 month’s time, you will have close to 100k gold.
