Does changing character name retroactively affect logs?

Logs like in the guild menu under History you see things like “[Charactername] has been banished from/left the guild” or “Charactername has donated bloodstones using silver/gold”

If I were to leave the guild then change my character name, will this retroactively update these logs?

I’m interested in knowing if stronghold renaming works the same way.

After testing this to see the result, I can confirm that name changes do not retroactively affect the logs in the History tab of the Guild menu, meaning the logs will still show the old character name and not the new one!
