Quick question, does character lvl increase dmg or any other stats than skill points?

This is false.

While character level does not increase power directly, it does indirectly through skill points. In addition to skill points, health + mana is also increased as your character gains levels.

So still no. OP asked if it increases damage other than skill points.
health + mana =/= increased damage.

well technically more health means it takes more hits to die which directly lets u deal more damage :v

At 55 you unlock level 11 skills and at 60 you unlock level 12 skills. This is the most direct damage increase from leveling.
