This is an honest question. Considering there are different regions for this game KR, RU, NA/EU, how different is SG willing to make the regions? A lot of QoL and changes we receive are after KR has already received it. It makes me wonder if giving feedback is even valuable if KR gets the changes first and then we receive it. Is SG willing to give a QoL change to NA/EU and then implement it in other regions or only give it to NA/EU? Or is it forever going to be the KR servers dictating the QoL and changes that happen to the other regions? This is of course ignoring the whole honing/mats differences just because they’re trying to get us to catch up.
You have a point. Looks like we’re just talking with a white wall.
Did a huge post compiling several issues related to regional support to SA. They said that took notes, but for now, even issues that require small effort, like create sections in forum for Portuguese speakers folks, were not made.
I give up to ask support, since it is just imaginary. I’m in forum to be synced with last community moves, not to be a reporter.
I think it matters if theres enough people complaining, i feel they already listened a lot to the community. we are getting a lot of QOL ppl have been asking for, the valtan delay, more honing mats etc.
Amazon does what it wants. NA/EU version of the game is completely different from what they have in Korea. We get less materials/less gold for activities. We don’t get skins even they’re already in the game files. We get level capped at Argos and the lvl for certain activities have been raised creating a void that makes it impossible for people to reach 1370, the events are only a patch for the festering wound. We get the worst possible version of the game, tweaked by amazon. No, it doesn’t matter. They will always do what gives the most profit and nothing more. Extremely disappointed by the version we got and the people making the decisions.
Me personally, i like to think it does, but hey, lets be realistic.
If there is a problem that was caused due to a political change, our feedback on it wont really help, certainly not in the short term.
As for other problems they’ll simply be compiled on a list, given various values of severity depending on the impact on the playerbase, and then dealt with according to severity.
One of the main feedback that worked was the injection of materials with the events
What happens when the events are over?
They confirmed they will be giving more after the other ones end
For urgent bugs, we’re getting fixes based on what we report. Also we can influence changes that don’t require any development, like events, gifts and content release.
But for balance and QoL we’ll have to see if anything ever gets implemented that started from this forum. My guess is that nothing from this forum reaches the director though.
I would probably say no. I don’t think we have anything unique or will get anything unique in our version. It is more or less just WHEN things get released.
They’ve done some off superficial changes with adjusting a few cards/NPCs but I don’t think anything positive/negative of substance.
Continuing the discussion from Does giving feedback even matter in NA/EU?:
An artificial void was created for people trying to get to 1370 and then Argos was released. They did this on purpose in our version of the game so spending was mandatory to reach it. When faced with the community outrage they decide to create these events. This will be the pattern for every update we get because money is more important than people.
Amazon has no control over Lost Ark NA/EU and what is put out or when. Smilegate makes those calls so this is wrong but I do agree that the way things have been dealt with thus far in terms of communication is pretty awful and I am pretty sure that is all done by AGS. Feels very similar to how they dealt with community reactions in New World.
We do gather feedback for the teams and absolutely read and collect suggestions or complaints. Granted not everything suggested, even when gethered, will be something the team decides to implement. Or even implement quickly. Alot goes into making changes in a game.
why u lied about speeding up classes release ?>
I don’t wanna be a debby downer but uh has anything been changed based on feedback? Between UI issues, skins, classes, and just general transparency (something you guys announced yourself). I think the only things that have happened have been a delayed roadmap and racing event?
Bots are/have been an issue too but you guys at least changed the login requirements but the huge spike of new players suspiciously coincides with the amount of days it requires to become trusted.
edit Actually we did get the racing event. The missing content still hurt a lot of the nonwhales for the month or so but I do enjoy the racing thing!
That’s a valid question. We also have hundreds of reports in the German forum, where still not a single thing has been fixed for the past 2 months.
The German translation is a complete disaster with incorrect, incomplete translations of important things that are relevant to game mechanics. There are some sentences that make sense either semantically or grammatically. You only have to click through the menus and description texts. It is a miracle if you happen to find an error-free text there. Even the google translator would do better than that.
Well, what else can you expect when an online store tries its hand as a game publisher.
I hope that after New World and now Lost Ark, developers will think twice about who they entrust their project to.
Question: why pay for a game full of bots?

-
destroyed auction
-
permanent spam of gold sellers
-
unresolved situation
-
imho 50% of all accounts are bots
reporting has no meaning, team doesn’t solve anything
The only change so far that they listened to is releasing Lancemaster first due to poll vote i think?
No clue on that one. Its tough to take polls that seriously.
I am super happy for lancemaster peoples even if they had to change the name to Glaivier lol
