Dear AGS when you announced your maintenance (good idea) 4 hours in advance, it was in EUROPE (France - Paris), 5 am.
We are sleeping!
Not everyone is American, damn it!
I wish they would look into it seriously. EU complains every single maintenance because an American based company is doing maintenance during standard American based time slots every single time. Just give the servers to people who would appreciate them instead.
actually it’s the best possible timeframe right now for EU… basicly when most players are at work/school!!!
Maintenance will be done once people get home.

Every game that’s ever launched has had multiple maintenances a week, with little to no notice though. This isn’t something new or special that AGS has created just to irritated Europeans. They’re fixing things, and when they feel its necessary to apply the fixes they do it.
The bigger issue is that people are saying they should change their maintenance schedules based on these individuals play schedules. That’s not how a business works. If you get 10 customers in the morning and 100000 in the evening, obviously you’re going to close for cleaning in the morning regardless of whether only 50% of your evening customers can access the game.
Also how is it even reasonably fair for someone to ask for maintenance to be moved to a time when they’re not being played, knowing full well that there are other players probably playing at that time? How do you justify denying those people access, just because you’d like to play when you scheduled time to play?
My healthy recommendation is to not base any of your plans around Lost Ark for at least another month or two - if ever. Play when you have time and can, but otherwise don’t plan your day around playing the game.

From a logistics point of view, given that the weekly activities reset at 0500 EST, I think it makes sense to have it at this time. I understand it’s around 0800 in parts of Europe but generally speaking, maintenance is usually completed before 1100 unless unforeseen issues arise.
I work night shift so I am actually more in line with Europe’s time zones than anything and I don’t think it’s too much to say every Thursday around this time for me to find something else to do.
It would be great if we could expect for maintenance between 03h am and 8h am in Europe for exemple ! 
Do you think it is something possible or do we have to adapt our life to american horaries? 
If you’re adapting your life around a video game in general then maybe go outside and see what grass feels like?

Honestly, I haven’t seen such amount of disrespect by any other company in the world, regardless of their time zone. I don’t even understand why they hate us Europeans so much. Amazon is a f-ing joke.

I think you’re the one denigrating Europeans. If there are 10k’s of thousands of people playing in the evenings in Europe, that means the majority of Europeans are PLAYING in the evenings.
Its rather selfish to want maintenance moved to the evenings, when a majority of the people are playing/trying to play at that time as evidenced by the large queues during that time, just so that you, who doesn’t seem to have other responsibilities, can play the game without issue earlier in the morning.
You’re not solving or trying to solve any issues for Europe servers, you’re solving the issue for yourself so that you can play the game when you want to, while neglecting to think about the people who can only play in the evenings.

I feel like most of the Amazon Employees would die laughing of this.
I think if there is 1 Company in the world that is especially known for not respecting its workers needs, its Amazon.
Blizzard did different maintenance, for better service. Amazon should do this aswell, seeing as most of the playerbase is from EU. I’m 99% sure there are alot more whales in EU so most of the money they earn are also from EU. So that stupid take you have there has literally no value.
Isnt it weird that those fixes always arrive at 8AM CET time ?
Or rather … Midnight for Americans ?
