And I agree with this up to a point

Because companies work together through contracts

And unless something in that contract states specifically that AGS has control over skins, assets released, etc.

Then it could have very well been AGS coming forth with a concern and SG cooperating to make it happen

The biggest thing in all of this

Is we don’t know, since there’s no proof of anything, just a blurb in the roadmap

Automatically assuming that AGS is the problem is people just feeding the fire

Hell it could have been all SG’s idea

We don’t know and presenting speculations like facts is just adding fuel to this dumpster fire that’s already going

It’s not the players’ problem. We expect to be respected a minimum, they know what we have been waiting for months and months. We take all the possible bugs, the bots that make our life difficult, they do surveys to find out if the tempo to release the latest ones suits us (I imagine that we all answered “yes”). They ask what is expected and do the exact opposite of what is expected. Still happy that they take full the mouth. They present us with a fait accompli all the time, the pill would go better if they had the decency to respect us a minimum. We are “we do this, we do that, we work on this, on that” but without any results. The lack of aggression towards RMTs and bots since the beginning of the game, it’s not them who take it every day, it’s us players who have to put up with it. They take us for idiots and it becomes unbearable. I don’t know what is the situation of the contract between SG and AGS, but not respecting those who make them live is unfair and in their place, I would take note of it before the same thing happens as New World . AGS stop being victims and make us dream (with fucking respect).

I kinda doubt SG went to AGS and went “Yeah, we want to support your western values, here’s censored skins” without AGS specifically asking for it, when 2/3 non-KR regions are not that way.

They did not have to agree

Hell, SG might have thought themselves that Western players couldn’t handle Ayaya as is, I mean, cultures are wildly different (this point is still speculation)

But my point still stands is that we don’t know what happened or who is fully responsible for what

All we know is this change is happening

How do some of you give power to a video game to make you feel disrespected? How does that even work? There is no game that could disrespect me because i am not a victim and a little video game plays no significance in my life. Its for fun, end of story. You guys take some of this wayyy too seriously.

Nailed it on the head. Yes, it’s a part of a long list of problems. Like I said in my OP, it’s astounding to me people are accepting the drip feeding of class release, which already exists in the game. Summoner has been available for almost a year and it only got released. Why? Why is that acceptable to lemmings? Reaper was already in the game when LA released in the West, we only got it last month. Why? Monetary reasons plain and simple. They are taking us for fools and got lemmings defending it. Exacerbated by saying 1 per 2 months then further exacerbated by artist releasing 4 months later after summoner.

You say it’s to make more money but I actually think the game will have no reason to be talked about for 6+ months.

I didn’t advocate for the release after 1 month. 2 months is the appropriate release schedule as it was for Korea. Again, I’m worried about the amount of dead patches between releases and how long it will take for us to have any reason to be excited about the game again combined with the terrible management at the moment. Getting from Abrel NM to Abrel HM ready is not a big feat, it’s enhancing all the Abrel NM gear to +17, which are 4% enhancement rates at its worst.

If you read my post we’re talking about not seeing Elgacia until August-October area. Nobody is complaining about having down time… Two months would have been down time… Then it would be followed by several dead content patches before Elgacia would greet us.

the way a game dies is not overnight. It is a combination of logging in less and less over a period of time. Thats why posts about “i am quitting” dont do anything tangible to a games playerbase numbers.

AGS and SG are screwing so bad at this point and the last 2 months that people just lose interest. Logging in less and less to the point of uninstalling cuz you found another game that takes that time.

So in KR a lot of players had an issue with the 2 month release, mostly because it was such a squeeze to get to 1540 in such a short time

Which made me think why we got a 4 month break

Now, this is my opinion, but it’s probably a combination of two factors

  1. The player base being overloaded with so much content to prepare for in a short time

  2. Internal data showing that most players will not be ready for HM in 2 months

With point one, we were super fast tracked with all sorts of class releases, raids, and content all in a short amount of time, that eventually we were going to have to take a small break

With point two, they could have data showing that the majority of players are still 1490-1500 (mains and alts) for Brel, thus making those people even further behind on getting mats and being ready to go as soon as HM releases

It seems they may have learned from their mistake with KR releasing by not releasing it after two months, however there’s a probably a reason for 4 instead

Also too, Global has to prepare for the fact that releases are going to slow down immensely at some point, so now seems to be a perfect time to introduce it after all the Brel hype

Just enjoy the break, play something else while you’re waiting

I recommend Stardew Valley, super chill game that’s a perfect counter to all of this

This makes no sense. If you have the data that too many players wouldn’t be ready for HM in 2 months that means that too many weren’t ready for NM G5-6 on release. Why release the raid if that was the case? They already stated they didn’t want another Argos situation where enough people couldn’t enjoy up to the final gate.

If you’re trying to argue that people have the ilvl but it’s due to support shortage then you’re just supporting part of my argument for why Artist should have been released MUCH earlier. I already responded to someone letting them know how easy it is to be ready for HM based on the very same metric AGS determined enough people were currently ready for NM. Your argument isn’t making sense if you understand what is required to enter Abrel HM and what is required for NM. If NM can be released now then HM has no reason to not be able to be released in 2 months.

Again, you miss the mark. I am aware dead patches will exist at some point. The point is currently this is a terrible time for it and it is with a major span of time. Again, we are looking at 6-8 months minimum for fresh content and this is also compiling with the fact that management is an absolute joke currently. This doesn’t bode well for player retention and pretending otherwise is not in anyone’s benefit.

The displeasure of KR getting the raid too fast has been something floating around here and places like Reddit for a while now

They released the raid maybe because of a possible contractual obligation to release it by a certain time, I don’t know for sure but that seems to be the likely case

I didn’t even mention Artist, this talking point was about the 4 month break, and I’m in agreement that Artist should have been released sooner

You’re aware dead patches exist, yet are complaining that there’s a dead patch now of all things

You may not like it, but seriously accept it and enjoy the break

Burnout is at an all time high as well, keep that in mind

And one more point while I’m at it that I thought of

People are complaining that the patch isn’t two months away, however we’re not only plagued with bots but disconnect issues as well

So having only two months to grind out your gear for HM while not being sure if/when you or others will disconnect sounds like a recipe for extreme failure

I wouldn’t doubt the gap is also to try to fix the cause of the disconnect issues as well

Don’t have clarification on it, but it makes sense

I think you’ve misunderstood then. The release cadence issue isn’t an Abrel HM specific issue it was the fact that they released Valtan, Biakiss, and Kouku within a 4 month span. Abrel NM took a year after that and HM 2 months after. The next complaint about raids was because Illyakan came out of nowhere and the amount of mats required to do the raid was incredibly high that even some of the biggest spenders had to spend even more to get in.

If this is what you got from my two posts then there’s honestly no point continuing this conversation because you’re not even reading to understand.

I’m sorry but if they didn’t delay NM for this reason it’s not a good enough reason to delay HM.

Up because my complain post was deleted and i was suspended until today so i couldn’t comment in anything.

I will be honest, i’m quite fine with Brelshaza in April, but not with Artist in April.

We asked for Artist since the launch for being one of the 3 support classes out of 21 classes (or more) and she was pushed to last because they wanted to released the older first (Sorc on the launch hello?).

We complained a lot of the two month class cadence because classes is what we use to play the game and do the content, we got a response saying the feedback was passed and what we got? No change.
It was great they releasing summoner after reaper, but then they decided to push Artist one of the few supports on the game, asked a lot since launch to the point there was almost a post everyday about it to April…

About the censoring, i was ok with the censoring, i didn’t liked the mini skirt neither the shoulderless clothes, so i was fine with those changes if they don’t make it ugly like the past censoring.

And what now? They dropped the roadmap, a lot of complain/backslash, post being deleted (some being suspended), they announce they’re going out for the holiday, everything is already becoming quiet like they want, and they’re likely not going to change it like the two months cadence.

Artist in April was the only thing that pissed me, but what can we do about it? nothing.
We complain, we get ignored, not answer.
If we stop spending money, that won’t affect their earning because a lot of people still spend.
Few “fighting” for it, no big help about it (like big streamers, they’re quite ok with the roadmap).
We stop playing, thousands of bots replace us in the numbers.
Those who continue playing can only wait, no other choice.

There are those who started playing on RU and KR, but going after everything again is very depressing, mainly if you was f2p that got almost every collectable here.
