The opposite would happen, actual hype for new content would be created, instead of “hype” for recycled content.

the honing buff is over hyped. it does not help the way people think it does lol
in kr 1415 is the starting ilvl for content, so much so that the most recent hyper express goes to 1460.
people thinkin “oh man this buff is going to help me so much to have a bunch of alts!!” are wrong. it makes things easier certainly but its not like the t1/t2 buff. you still need a shitload of gold and mats to push an alt to 1415. then afterwards you have to hone naturally to 1430 and 1445.

Im actually sitting at 1470 and 1445 alt, bunch of 1370s, and im kinda sad we gonna be doing nothing but farming fuckin cookies for the entire august with nothing to do. At least give us clown so i can fucking upgrade my relic sets.
Yeah. The only reason we getting something new in every 1-3 month that its a “new” game in the west. After ~2023.06-09 there will be no new content for months.

Yeah, Akkan is the first raid content Korea gets in August after 1 year of Brelshaza. We wont wait that long. The only bad pacing we have is classes and skins IMO. Everything else we are doing quite well pace wise.

That takes all my time in the week, but its to earn gold? I literally don’t have enough time in the week to do everything I want to do on LA. Do you guys play 1 character and afk? 1 character andies. People with nothing to do always 1 character karens
im not upset, its just another questinably poor decision to condense major content patches even more.
monthly content patch was already a lot at once, now we get even more every 2 months with nothing inbetween.

na 1500 is either someone that got very lucky or they spent a decent bit of money.

im 1475 and i got crazy lucky after i hit 1430. i basically 1-3 tapped several pieces to reach 1445, i pitied a few going to 1460 then i 2 tapped my shoulders, 8 tapped my pants and gloves. (the rest were fairly average) all to hit 1475.
for someone to be 1500 right now they would of needed to of sold some big item early on (or flipped fish) for potentially millions of gold.
infact based on the current low prices of mats, its 4,930,386 gold to go from +6 1340 gear (1370) too +20 on all pieces.
4.9million gold too reach 1490 based on current prices. thats alot more gold then anyone would of made naturally unless they got very very lucky.
theres some skill obviously in knowing to invest into something and when to dump it, but most of the people that invested into things like fish did so because of streamers. (and it required alot of start up gold too make it a worth while venture)

My problem isn’t with dead months, I played WoW for 15 years I’m familiar with content droughts.
it’s the fact they’re spacing class releases “because they’re content” in order for a steady content flow to keep people interested/coming back.
And there’s still gaps.
The ‘set in stone’ 2 months class release cadence is BS.
The dream would be same-day patches as KR but we all know that’s never going to happen. Not even QoL changes would be same-day. When we do eventually catch up (Q3-Q4 2023) we will still lag behind 2-3 months in receiving patches for reasons.
The problem is that they are considering class release as a huge content and with their “business intelligence” they are releasing a class each 2 months, i’m not so sure but i think they talked about also doing this to have more content each month (again not sure), but then they are going to release together with a true content for the endgame to push our character further.
In a way it seems they don’t give a fuck for content to do ingame with our character, that may be why kakul seems to have a weak content value to them and the class have a huge value because of money. Or this will be like valtan release that they claimed that destroyer is good for valtan, yet how many did valtan first week with destroyer? So, is scouter especially good for kakul? how many scouter will do it first week?
