Probably 2x 1475. Just for the double clown.
Beware, depending on your class people won’t accept you into clown raid unless you’re overgeared. But if you have friends you play with, 4x1475 is the best option.
I would say,
if you only raid with party finder, 1490
if you have static, multiple 1475 or 1460 or 1445
if you have other alts long term I think getting all lats to 1445 is best. Going wide seems better than going tall in terms of alts if you care about return value.
if it’s a question of just the 2 tho I think both at 1475 is better than 1 at 1490 and 1 at 1445. Brel is at least 3 to 4 months away which is a ton of time to get your main to 1490.

Lmao why 1472.5? We don’t lose Argos gold before Clown and if you’re not planning to do clown on that character just keep it at 1460.

HM Valtan parties with 8x1445 are plenty now, it’s gonna be the same for Vykas in a couple of months, it’s not that hard of a raid.
Only hard part with Vykas HM at Ilvl is Gate 2 as Gate 2 is essentially the first big DPS check we have in the game. On ilvl groups can bump up the berserk quite easily since you have to avg about 20 bars of health per minute (to account for the no damage mechanic periods.
It’s similar for Valtan normal/hard and Vykas normal, just that there are a few more alts at those ilvl
Getting accepted into parties you can forget on ilvl, so creating one is easier and depending on when you do it, fills pretty fast as well
But yeah if you dont want to be raid lead and dont want to be gatekept, then you need way more ilvl than those raids require, else people wont accept you (unless you are support)
It’s a DPS check for players with 1460 mains.
Take two groups with exact same characters, but one that’s clearing it for the first or second time and the other one that’s very experienced (that’s the point we’re getting at now). The second group will do like 25% more damage, for sure.
Not to mention most players doing it with 1460 don’t have LoS and by the time 1460 alts are common, we’ll have 18x LoS which is like 17% damage increase.
what do they dislike at clown?
Because of one full week of extra Argos gold influx. One hone and u get Argos+Kakul in same week. This is for whichever character youre intending on doing clown on. 
Literally same logic people parked at 1414 when Oreha gold got ilvl locked.
Get into guild, socialize and get 2x 1475, thats what im gonnna do. 
Pugs in clowns usually want 5x and yeah 1490 geared and it’s funny because you just need 4x it’s REALLTY not a big deal however most people have statics as it is it’s just 4 people.
best place to park alt is 1445 or 1472 truth me u dont wanna do 6 clown per week with min ilvl

this made me realise that i really shouldn’t push 1475 on my paladin alt as everyone will be bad at clown, i’ll park alts at 1445 & hoard my cash a bit, maybe invest into a 5x3 alt
Yep, you’re exchanging ez gold of Argos for hard gold of Clown which isn’t worth the trouble unless you’re gonna do bus Argos with your alt and push it to 1490.
