I dont like how they will release the classes either but thats exacly to keep you playing and of course paying.
Now about your friends, there is no reason to quit if you enjoy the game since when their classes come out they will just have to use the knowledge thingy in stronghold and boom, tier 3, till then they can just keep saving mats to push even higher.

This has nothing to do with making money, it’s about the fact that companies nowadays would rather milk their customers than create a service worth paying for.

If you feel milked im sorry. But it´s an F2P Game - so they make the money with the ingame-Shop. If they release all at once or the popular ones first, everyone is playing them and much less people are paying for costumes etc. of other classes
Same reason why they don´t release a whole bunch of new (or rather existing) Costumes. Most people would just pick the favorite instead of the others.
So why are you feeling “milked” ? Did you feel the need to spend much money on the game yet?
Except this is their idea, the problem is classes are not the same as releasing skins slowly. I won’t play any of the other classes that are being released later and even if I do end up trying them, I won’t spend extra money on them.
I’d much rather pay knowing I’m playing the class that I want to play. Not when I had no other choice, but to play some other class. I get this marketing idea, I won’t agree with it and I don’t actually believe it is beneficial enough for amazon to do so.
This is why I made this post in the first place, if they do end up keeping classes unreleased for ~6 months I will just stop playing until then, they definitely won’t be seeing me spend another penny.
@Hiroyuuki funny you mention him because that same streamer agrees that them dripfeeding classes as “new content” for up to a year+ for the last classes released, is an awful idea LOL

i get you. But marketing wise they think it´s the better choice.
Even if you personally won´t buy any other stuff for any other class - as long as the majority will buy it, the goal is archived.
And on top, we don´t know if there are any technical issues as well, keeping them from releasing other classes. Just because they exist already in other game versions, doesn´t mean there isn´t any stuff to do.
If the Godfather of Lost Ark agreed to it then that’s the end of my argument

Help me understand the problem. Given the above quote, your fiends at least and probably you as well, have been playing on the korean or russion server before you switched over to EU/NA servers. What keeps you from playing on those accounts until the content youo desire is available on NA/EU?
I assume you nalready invested a lot of ressources in your Koreran/Russian account, so that shouldn’t be a problem. Why rush the release in NA/EU?
What is it you intend to achieve by switching to a region that doesn’t support your desired content, yet?
We didn’t play on other servers, we simply saw the classes before release and wanted to play those. Tried other classes, created alts and none of them felt like the ones we want to play.
Doesn’t seem that difficult to understand.

So, when you say “main” you mean “the class I was most interested in previously”? Then that’s more understandable. Still, that’s on you as well. You knew which classes were to be available on release, you should have picked one of those.
I am looking forward to play the Scouter, myself. That’s going to take a while to get release, so in the meantime I enjoy ma paladin immensly. I recommend you try to enjoy one of the available classes and their playstyle and switch over , once your “chosen” class is available or stop playing until release.
There is zero chance your forum post will change their release plan and roadmap.
That is the problem, not everyone (including myself) enjoy immensly a class that is not the one they want to main.
I enjoy my alts? no. I enjoy the game, but i don’t like any of the classes we have because i keep thinking im investing time in something i don’t want to play over their purpose as alts.

So, what would you do, if you didn’t know about classes released in other regions?
Probably would have not played the game at all, the classes we have now are uninteresting .
Well, the point is, me and a lot of other people who voted on the other post are still hopeful they change their mind.

This. It’s better to be vocal than it is to just stay quiet and hope they get it right. 1 post likely wont change anything, but an endless flood will at least get their attention.
Bro I already don’t log in you don’t have to tell me. I was sure in making this post I was pointing out the fact that people WILL quit without releasing the classes faster. I honestly have 0 will to play until reaper is out.
I also don’t see how telling people to quit playing is beneficial to amazon or smilegate.

I already quit lol. Between the REALLY dumb things theyre doing and not having any of the classes i wanna play, it got old quick.
But thats Amazon for you. They grab your money then run and leave everything else to a skeleton crew before shutting down and releasing the next over-hyped pile.
Im hoping they prove me wrong. I really, really hope they do cause this is a fun game.

you seem to be a product of simp culture. The way you approach being taken advantage of is depressingly more common than it should ever be. I genuinely feel sorry for you, but more so, you represent a far greater enemy than the gaming industry and their predatory practices ever were.
I expect AGS and Smilegate to want to make as much money as possible. I expect them to blur the lines. They should expect that when they egregiously overstep their bounds, people call them on their shit. Beta simps like you who fight against us fighting against the establishments predatory practices is far worse.
Just think for a second what you are fighting against. You are fighting against people campaigning to make available ALREADY RELEASED CONTENT in other regions, so we can fill out our roster and SPEND MORE TIME IN THE GOD DAMN GAME! You are actively campaigning for me to have less access to existing content in this game! How does that make any sense my guy?? You realize your experience in the game would only improve if they listened to us right? THere is zero downside to you in any way, if they did what we were asking, so why fight us on it?
Like, I can’t wrap my head around why asking for existing content to be released is something worth fighting against. Could you please explain to me how the game as a whole is better with the classes that are 100% already in the game elsewhere, with them missing from our version? In all sincerity I would love to understand your rational for fighting us on this so much.
