EAC giving 3 / 4 stutters in multiple games

This took a few weeks to figure out and I started a thread (Stutter after exactly a minute after last update) a while ago but I finally found out what has been causing my annoying stutters.

To show what the problem is, I have already made a comment with examples of what is happening: Stutter after exactly a minute after last update - #36 by krabby12

So basically EVERY 60 seconds I get 3 or 4 small freezes/stutters. This started right after the clown update. I couldn’t figure out what it was until I tried other games that use EAC and ALL of those games have the same problem. Some of them even kicked me out sometimes like battlefield 2042 or hell let loose. But this was not every time. The only thing that happened in all the EAC games was those 3 stutters.

I did also send an email to EAC but so far I have not gotten a response.

So far I tried:
turning off almost all background programs
Repairing EAC for all games.
Reinstalling EAC for all games.
Deleting EAC folders from everywhere and validating the games.

I am actually out of ideas of how to try and fix this. My last option would be reinstalling windows which I really don’t like since it’s a lot of work. I will wait and see if I get a reply from EAC.

I just hope that maybe a CM here could let this be known and looked at because it’s really ruining my games.

It really is a tough one I’m afraid. We’ve reported these EAC issues to the team.

I see you’ve taken all the right steps to rectify this issue, the post below might cover some more troubleshooting.

Something I saw that helps. You could try changing EasyAntiCheat.exe process priority to ‘low’ in task manager.

I just tried the priority and it did not work. I also tried all the other things and it’s still doing it.
I’m glad it’s at least reported because I just find it weird that it started after the clown update.

I guess I will wait a little bit and see if EAC comes with a reply to my email otherwise it will be a windows reinstall…

Nope… not even getting an answer from eac or ea battlefield. im soon going to reinstall windows.

I just uninstalled EVERY game using EAC, removed every single EAC folder, reinstalled lost ark started up fresh, 0 settings changed, still does it… I’m very done with this. This was my absolute last idea other than reinstalling windows. fucking fix this… I’m tired of it

Well… I’m back… I reinstalled windows fully fresh before i did that i uninstalled every eac game, i went into eac clicked every game manually and uninstalled EAC, only THEN it would delete itself from the drive, installed LOA again after windows reinstall, AND I STILL HAVE THIS FUCKING LAG??? WHAT IS EAC’S PROBLEM???
