This is remminding me the same chain reaction I got a week ago. This EAC Offilne problem popping up, and when it’s fixed, another series of disconnecting codes started appearing (w0x2-spelpwn1n2nt, etc). Man, I got hard stucked by these endless problems… Missed Valtan on week one due to this. Seriouosly, EVERY weekly reset these problems seen to rise up from the dead, you guys should pay attention to this detail. I find it difficult to be some kind of coincidence tho.
Hope I don’t get gated by this problems again…
I am also getting this error and I’m on NAW. Several hours ago I was experiencing the W0x9-SPELPetc error as well. As danielbrigagao mentioned, occurred when transitioning from one area to another OR entering an abyssal dungeon.
Didn’t work for me.
After doing the “repair EAC” thing, I launched again, got the W0x9 error, then disabled the firewall, restarted one more time, and, when exactly 10 minutes had past(I made shure I checked it this time) I got the 2nd disconnect in a row with the W0x9 error. I’m safe to assume this is something not on my, or our, side. Hope you guys fix it soon.
Edit:
1. EAC Offline is gone, now getting consistent W0x9 every 10 min on the clock, trying reseting the router atm.
2. No luck reseting the ISP router, same 10 minute disconnects after that.
3. Using my mobile phone shitty internet thethering resulted in an “EAC Offline” error after exactly 10 min.
First time getting this error, and now my game is unplayable. Lost my entire week due to this as i’m locked in every content…
I`ve tried verifying game integrity and also repairing and re-instaling the game.
Just to try it out i disabled my PC WAN interface and routed the 4G connection of my smartphone to my PC using the USB Tethering option.
I´ve been playing for 2 hours with no more disconnections, maybe you should give it a try.
I´ve done this same thing when the problem happened on the previous patch.
Yeah, this worked for as well on the previous patch. Game becomes playable but the ping spikes to hundreds due to the smarphone connection.
That leads me to believe that it’s maybe related to ISP configs on our side. Even tough, we or I hadn’t have this whole problem before, except on reset day patches.
Yeah, or maybe the EAC/Servers are way too sensitive for our internet infrastructure, it always annoys me how the game kicks me out when my internet flaps even for mere seconds, lost many islands including the last gold island because of that.
And when it kicks you out youre done because when you log back in 4/5 minutes afterwards the island is already over
I did this and solved for me at least.
For the majority of replies here seems a problem on SA Servers (Kazeros) here and same problem. I had this issue two weeks ago and I fixed it repairing the EAC, after that I played for two weeks with 0 issues, today this is not working again. Please check SA servers connectivity.
At this point I believe that you Amazon guys should at least increase this 10 min timer to 60min so I can do at least chaos and guardian runs…
Occam’s razor: It’s not a coincidence that its always exactly 10 effing minutes. It’s desingned to be like that. If it were packet loss on my end, it certantly wouldn’t be 10 exact minutes disconnection each time. Knowing that, my conclusion is that it’s a timer on some sort of configuration thats flagging our systems as bots or gold sellers.
IMO that’s the only possible explanation. I suggest you guys count the time between each disconnection so we get more credible data.
