I got to login yesterday (11/14) immediately after the surprise maintenence, and I could play for several (about 3 or 4) hours without any disconection.
Then I loged off to make dinner, and when I came back, another surprise.
The disconections start to happen again.
And It’s happening till now.
Server: Blackfang
Region: SA
May not be “related” to last week’s DC’s, but I had disconnections ever since the Vykas update dropped.
Had to use a VPN for two months to “fix” the issue. I called my ISP and changed my 5+ year old modem and the issue got fixed. Don’t get me wrong, it is AGS’s fault that the disconnections happened in the first place, but changing modem 100% worked for me, a friend, and other users in here.
So stop bashing the guy and telling him its misinformation. Its not.
I tried a lot of methods and the longest time was stable for 1 hour
The problem I eventually found was that in the same environment, only certain accounts had EAC offline
So it is possible that replacing equipment and hardware is not effective for everyone
EAC caught the suspected problem, but Amazon didn’t determine it, so the account was locked or pending. The question is, who can verify that?
Accounts that cannot be solved by changing devices have been judged to be suspected of cheating, so don’t expect Amazon to deal with it in the short term, it will be far away, after all, your account is suspicious
So by changing my modem the problem will be solved
Should I buy a particular brand ? Maybe change provider ?
Oh maybe I should move to a different country!

Fact is that you can’t be 100% certain until you try it and at the very least it is a viable solution that was proven to have fixed a few people’s problem when other solutions haven’t. And while the game and it’s staff isn’t offering you a solution; this is something you can try.
I made a thread on what mostly fixed mine but I haven’t seen many people try this either. A friend claims this to have worked for their disconnections too.
@HUnewearl What I’m saying is that the amount of players that had this before maintenance was not noticeable. Now everyone has it and every raid has disconnects. It did happen before but not to the majority of players like now.
Like I said, you can sit on your ass and wait for a solution or you can try to find one yourself. AGS clearly don’t care about trying to fix the issue on their end, so you might as well start on your end. People are trying to help and you’re acting like a petulant kid.
This is factually wrong, my friend. Look at the date this thread was created and how many posts it had prior to last week. Check your dates and re-check your “facts”.

Why do I have to do that? Before last maintenance I had never experienced simultaneous DCs that wiped raids. Not even single ones. Now it happens all the time. This is enough evidence that last patch caused the issue for the majority of players. I repeat that I know this happened before but definitely not to the degree it does now. We didn’t have every raid crashing because of this before patch like it does now.

You are saying like the majority of players is just you. If it doesn’t happens to me than nobody else is having this problem. Since Vykas everyone here have problems with DCs every 5 min.

Do you hear yourself ? How the fk could someone find a solution to a problem that is clearly the game’s problem, the constant dc’s started before 2 weeks for me after the patch I never had any problems with the game.
The fact that you suggesting to people find their own solution to this blows my mind.
Like wtf, yea when I come home from work the first thing I’m going to do is try to find a solution about something I cant control, how could any player solve this problem, its rng how many times you will get kicked in a day. If they knew what is causing this they would have said something so far.
The only thing I can do is step away from the game and the fact that you calling me a petulant kid is insane
@Akemeron I tell you that I had literally never experienced multiple simultaneous disconnects in any raid before last patch. Neither me nor other players I played with like ever. You say: “Since Vykas everyone here have problems with DCs every 5 min”. If it was everyone, then I would have to restart raids since Vykas patch but this happens only since last patch and that’s when all the threads like Random disconnects on EUC and Random Disconnects since today maintenance/patch - 09-11-2022 were created except this mega thread. Get your facts straight.

It was way worse before, the only reason you think its worse now its because it started happening with you. Most of us in here have been dealing with this shit for almost 4 months now. Go sit down.

Most of us in here have been dealing with this issue since Vykas NORMAL MODE dropped months and months ago. If we waited for AGS to do something about then we would have quit by now.
So again, don’t do anything. Come in here every day, ping Roxx and whoever else you want to ping and just wait for a solution to fall on your lap. AGS don’t care and they will not do anything. People are trying to help. You either accept their help or keep acting like a brat. Your choice.
@Akemeron @HUnewearl I don’t know which region you guys play at but I’m talking specifically about EUC which I’m playing at. Here after patch we often have to restart raids because of this last patch. This never happened before that and this actually means the situation got worse.
@HUnewearl What do you mean “don’t do anything” ? This is a server side issue, nothing players will do will fix this. The fact that these DCs happen simultaneously is proof of that. Anyway, I don’t have the time to waste on forums, we ain’t getting anywhere with this so whatever…
