Got a buddy that has been experiencing this for 3 weeks now. It sucks because we literally canāt do any raids and stuff together due to him dcing. Booting the game up takes forever too.
It just really sucks. Heāll be taking a hiatus until its acknowledged. I just donāt understand why it started happening after the arcana updateā¦

Hey everyone.
Iāve noticed a few people have tagged me and sent me dms asking if I managed to fix the issue in my end, or to ask me to give any updates at all.
The short answer is no. Iāve quit.
And to be perfectly honest, it was the best decision Iāve made. I understand this might be hard for some of you guys, specially after 1400+ hours of this game (I understand, believe me, I got 1200 hrs myself). But the truth is that quitting this game have actually opened my eyes to how actually bad this game is and how accostumed weāve grown to playing a bad game. At least to me it was like a toxic relationship, it became like a mental prison to me, since I felt like I couldnāt just quit after investing so many hours and money (I bought the platinum founder lmao). Even before this issue started actually I was only logging in to do dailies, in all alts for that matter. It as a hassle, almost like a job, I didnāt have fun at all. At this point I didnāt even know I even still played at all, I was just on auto pilot. Yes, thatās the formula of MMOs, and I have no issue with it by itself, but at least make sure youāll spend that time (and money) in a good game. One that brings you joy at least.
I went back to FFXIV which to me was always and still is an infinitely better game. Iāll be frank, in just one day I had more fun than 5 months of this game. Made me wonder why I even tried out LA at all and lasted so long. Itās mostly personal preference as well, of course. For example, FFXIV has a very strong social aspect in its game design, which is the thing I love the most in MMOs. As for Lost Ark, it has none at all. So it comes to personal preference as well of course, and I understand many will disagree.
But Iāll say this: what made me decide to ultimately quit was Amazon, not the game itself. Thatās where most of the toxicity comes from in my opinion. Weāve grown accostumed to bad customer experience, and this game has the worst tbh. This thread is a living proof of it, if anyone ever dares to deny it.
I understand this is probably not what many wanted to hear, but I donāt have a solution still, and the hard truth is that Amazon doesnāt either. They donāt really care, same as they didnāt care about my feedback. They are not doing their best to solve it, if they are even doing anything at all. Hell, even coming back to this thread I wasnāt surprised to see this shit is still unsolved and going on LOL. Whatās what I meant about toxic relationship. Youāve grown dependent of it. Look how many of you (and I include my past self in this) are spending days growing anxious because of this issue, opening this thread everyday. There was even this guy posting here daily. Bruh, this is some crackhead unhealthy shit. Take care of your mental health. Forget about this game, forget about this issue, just move on. I myself didnāt even remember this thread existed or this game before I received a few e-mails from people dming me in this forum.
I donāt have a solution, but I have a suggestion: Move on and quit this game for good. Uninstall, forget about it. Try other games. Maybe youāll come to understand what I meant.

I canāt remember the date, but it was one of the patches post Vykas I think, the one where they said theyād be adding in captchas (which Iāve never actually seen) and I always wondered if that was somehow screwing up and they were related (but someone else told me those are only on new accounts)ā¦ but it was after that maintenance I went from 0 problems ever to frequent nonsense.
I keep TRYING to get in the game only in reset day, if i dont lose my entries trying to be connected. the rest of the week i refuse myself to waste my life trying to login because this EAC offline is took so much time and we have 0 feedback to fix it.
Honesly? I only enter in the game at wednesday kuz im support of my guild static raid. i do vykas, valtan them logoffā¦
This team AGS, the staff, everyone, has 0 dedication to help us with this error who are destroying so much players gameplayā¦
i already turn off my humanity and give up.

Update 2: I was able to log in but got DCād from EAC offline error 2x within one hour. I deleted my EAC and verify my files again. But Iāve been getting EAC offline error instead of the W0x error. Can AGS just create its own anti-cheat to help with this situation?
gonna start a daily post on this thread till issue is fixed, i will also be generous and start today as day 1, buts its already been over 3 weeks.

First time playing after the reset and was able to play for an hour. The EAC repair lasted a full week so hopefully it will this time too.
Keep up the excellent work AGS truly top notch infrastructure and implementation. I work for a competitor to AWS so you know, cloud computing, hosting, and networking is what we do.
One of my engineers has this printed and posted to his cube and it describes AGS on this issue perfectly.
Thankfully those in charge of communication on this issue are not those responsible for fixing it.
Iām close to printing this thread and sending a written letter to Valve to refund my purchases because you arenāt worth my Steam library and I wonāt repurchase my favorite games to rebuild from scratch because of your companies incompetence.

I never had an eac disconnect until yesterday. And yesterday disconnected every 10/20 minutes. No matter where I was.
I did not restart my computer and not repair the steam files. I turned off the VANGUARD (from riot) and everything works. I donāt have eac error anymore.

Iāve never had any problems since launch until today.
For instance, today I woke up and tried to launch LOA. I got a blue screen saying something was wrong with easyanticheat.sys. windows restarted and updated my PC. Without asking for permission or anything. (highly sus)

This actually needs to be looked into more. Made a forum account just to add to this thread (no screenshot as I wanted to try get back into the game and lost my chaos gate today).
The only times iāve ever had issues with either EAC or another error, has been when I enter a chaos gate (lost several maps now), when I enter an adventure island (lost chances at island souls) or using a boat system, or mid-chaos dungeon after entering floor 1 or 2.
It hadnāt even clicked until I saw this, essentially when entering a new zone, and Iām just lucky itās not during Raids, or every time I enter the game like some have had issue with. However if Iād bet my weekly gold, it would be on the fact that itās the captcha system no-one sees as I saw in another post itās āturned down to the lowest setting for testingā
If it is the cause, good luck when this is turned up to eleven!

Iām right there with you friend. Although at this point itās AGS and SMG deciding for me because I havenāt been able to play the game for more than 5 minutes at a time for 2 months now and Iām so far behind everyone else I think itās not worth the effort to continue trying to play.
I enjoyed the game but these kinds of issues really kill any sort of drive that makes me want to play in the future.
