I am by no means an AGS apologist, mostly because they did bungle the EU release and should have had OCE servers (better option), as well as language tagging. However, I was just looking at the steam charts and this time does seem to be the low time of the day for the game as a whole.
wow have maintance at 2-3am(depending on winter/summer time), quests resets at 9 but it dont require server restarts
this EU time, so learn to read shards…
ppl are pissed by downtime, but at any other given time, even more ppl would be pissed …

I don’t really mind the maintenance but 3h downtimes for minor fixes 3 times a week is ridiculous. They could just act like any other normal company, pick a day of the week and update on that day. My schedule is complicated to say the least and almost every time I have like 1h to play I either have queues or it’s a stupid maintenance.

And its not like you have a lot of weekdays to choose from with the game fully launched. There is one. Then you’d complain about limited data and call them a cherrypicker.
The fact that maintain is no longer in the afternoon is really great. Changed it up within a week - as they should. I’m off work today, but I cant complain about this timing tbh.

Thursday, Friday, Monday and one pic from Saturday and you claim it is just the weekend.
If a game releases mainly in Europe and America, then morning in the EU will always be the point with least people affected by global maintenance. That’s just obvious based on time zones.
Right lets defend AGS decision to run maintenance in the morning hours.
Clearly you don’t play on EU.
I do play on EU, and I defend doing maintenance during the time with least people affected.
That is just the most sensible way to do it.
Now you can argue they shouldn’t do all at the same time and stagger the maintenance which is decent critique, but to claim morning in EU is a bad idea despite it being the lowest activity is just non-sensical.

So, it’s more waiting for Elden Ring (series x). And at that time…the queue problem will probably solved. Bad timing 
Plus, considering the EU Servers are located in the EU (as far as I know), one could, like, do the maintenance to a well fitting time for all the regions, as other companies do.
