Easily the worst ranked PVP of any game

How dare we ask localization (Amazon Games) to recode to adapt to our market. -sarcasm

They should, just like they have been for the PVE content, but they choose not to for PvP because not enough player base interested in the broken MMR system along with other balancing factors. So, here we have the problem, the which first? the chicken or the egg. Mass majority of players do not do PvP because of how bad it is. So, instead of balancing recoding, reworking to make it enjoyable, so more players will, they just ignore it all together and focus on what has made them successful, PvE.

It’s disappointing because this game has so much to offer and so much room to grow and in so many areas. If the PvP scene becomes big enough, it can grow into a separate game/department and branch to ESports. Unfortunately, all of that takes time and worst MONEY. Since they can’t figure out a way to monetize PvP alone, why bother, too much work for little gains. Easier to keep focusing on what they’re known for and has been successful in, PvE content. It’s understandable from any business perspective. I just wish they would put more effort to make it better. Literally 95%+ of the posts on PvP forums are players unsatisfied with the system.

When players complained that T1-T2 content was too difficult, what did they do? they completely nerfed all T1-T2 content. This is within the first week of release on the game. I felt guardian raids, and raids were easy enough, did people wipe, ya, sure. But it was still clearable and no where near the difficulty and still not like FF14 savage raids. Thank god it isn’t, no one wants to attempt to clear 1 phase of savage for 8+hrs then find a “static” to do that multiple times a week. Even as of now, the current T3 content (Abyss, Guardian, etc.) in the game is still easier to clear than T1-T2 content, if not carried by someone over the recommended iLvl.

People have been posting all the issues with PvP, yet unfortunately we are still on the old MMR system. That’s like giving PvE players T1 content and not release T3 after a month. Game would already be dead.

its nto as easy to change the pvp or adding new modes… they have to get smilegats OK and smilegate has to do it probably and not amazon.

just changing numbers is way easier than adding complete new modes.

and the pvper crying about how bad the pvp is are avtual people who never played a pvp game that actually requires skill

I havent played much pvp but from what i ve seen so far its bad, player skill is a thing and it can change the outcome but between two skilled players the best class always wins and thats not what should be happening in a good pvp system.

it is unavoidable. each pvp game has this problem because you cant balance properly any pvp. there are going to be things that are stronger than other things its unavoidable unless you have same class vs same class with same skills stats etc

I don’t agree on the simple lines that it would just turn into WoW again where only specific people would be taken and others would miss out. However i do think if 2 supports make it into a que then they should be on seperate teams. Either that or make a flex que like in League thats a completely seperate ladder with premades being a thing.

I completely agree, still though that doesnt make the pvp good, the game is very big on every country it launched, that means it makes good money so they should dedicate a team to make weekly pvp balancing, yes weekly, otherwise there is no point.

And yet its considered pretty balanced in the country it originated lol. Just because you think its not balanced does not make it so lol… Its a l2p issue, its amazing how some people in EU/NA think they have a more valid opinion than the most experienced best players world wide for the game atm lol.

I ll say this though, i didnt ask for any opinion of what the koreans think, the koreans are 2x better players than the best EU/NA players and they have the game for 3+ years with far more classes than we have plus i am not sure that we have the same class balances koreans have at the moment so what the hell are you even talking about.

Oh so the game should be balanced so worse players can do better? Uhuh and we have the same balance patch so shows how much you actually know about the pvp lol. If you are uninformed dont give an opinion.

Funny how you say airhead but come out with something stupid. And the missing classes is a cop-out we have no class ingame missing counter classes, every class has a few which we have access too.

No it isnt? No one thinks the pvp is balanced in KR. All you have to do is look at the last pvp tournament that ran. 94% of entrants made up of 5 classes. 80% of the top finishes with double support teams.

PvP is unbalanced garbage but there’s no way they’ll be able to balance it, unless they force everyone to play the same class. It’s like playing any other team-based game. X comp counters X other comp and X class goes great with X other classes. They can’t balance it, so their best chance is to just make ranked 1v1 BO3 and **** everything else.

Every class saw selection in the tournament with fairly good distribution other than SS, deadeye and soulfist… Every class bar 2 were seen in the top 16, there was barely ANY double support groups (1 in top 16…) unless you are trying to call gunlancer and wardancers supports lol… Double support is broken and thats been recognised and going forward it will probably not be allowed in the following tournaments. So not sure why you decided to make up some random percentages as the highest picked classes was Db with 8%, Smn Pld Brd 7% and then so on down to soulfist with 2% (though it had a 80% WR, which is kinda insane in itself lol).

actually the majority of western audience responsible for community tournaments consider gunlancer a support. i kinda disagree but if tehy ever bann double support you can probably consider that gunlancer is a support as well

Well i wouldnt say the majority but yea on the arena discord they do for some reason. Its really not a support though it cannot fill the role of a pld or brd lol. Its like calling a wardancer a support both play a similar role. But yea i know the EU/NA community tournaments have 1 support limit and gunlancer is considered a support for it, kinda silly as why would anyone ever take a gunlancer then lol, its only good with 1 specific setup and even then most pld/brd + 2dps is better.
