300 gold on a banned account won’t touch the economy in any way.
The gold is not used in any way unless purchased from individuals.
Thereby, banning bots, won’t have any effect on fixing the economy.
The crystal prices are literally created from demand/supply. The demand for blue crystals from f2p players is severely high, thus, raising over time, over and over again by people having no patience high balling each other.
Especially whales, which partake in gold buying, ruining the economy further.
They don’t let that gold sit on an account. They all funnel it into a few ones, same for the drops.
Those tome materials, sold on the auction house, must make them tens of thousands every day alone.
so what if they funnel the gold, it’s useless unless its sold. What do you think happens when you ban people who buy gold permanently without a chance of appeal?
Fear.
People get scared of losing their account and thereby won’t buy any gold. Currently, the ban for gold buying is only 24 hours. Why do you think the economy is in such a dire state.
Fixing fixing fixing, yet amazon fails to even change this simple rule, which on its own would have a huge impact.
24 hours
72 hours
perma,
wow what a bloody punishment. They don’t even remove the gold. Or the items equivelant to the gold value.
So, people can buy huge amounts of gold, and then get only banned for 24 hours…
Yeah, that will be very effective, like in that other AGS ran game, it worked super well over there!
Or, nah… actually not.
L M A O!!! Basically, “Yeah, they cheat, but don’t punish them because they are “fully committed to this game.”” No, they aren’t fully committed to the game. They are committed to getting ahead by whatever means possible in every game they play. Go ahead and fuck around with it like in New World and see how long the legitimate players tolerate it.
They got just another item dupe after 5 months… so…
yeah sadly, that’s how the punishment for gold buying is currently. It’s minimalistic, to the point of being pointless. People can buy 100k gold and just laugh their ass off after they’ve spent it and ags cannot do anything.
They simply keep everything with a slap on the wrist.
This whole 24 hour ban thing is a joke. As someone who got banned out of the blue, I’ve been keeping a close attention to people in similar situation and people who posted in the forum. Not a single person received a 24 hour ban. They were mostly Perm and shortest one I saw was 72 hours.
But then again, maybe gold buyers did receive 24 hour ban and did not bother posting on the forums, which would be extremely infuriating as me and many others never engaged in any illegitimate activities and are simply stuck in endless cycle of dealing with macro responses.
It’s perfectly fine to implement harsh measure against the buyers, but that is not an end all be all solution as these are meaningless if illegitimate gold already circulated into the system. Again, it needs to be done on both angles.
Also, they seriously need to have proper support infrastructure to deal with false positives, which they obviously lack at the moment.
my 2 “friends” which i reported got banned for 24h each and kept everything.
So…
speaking of which, support of amazon is majority foreigners with barely any education being paid pebbles. Do not expect proper support or proper communication.
But yeah, would be awesome to see them hire some actual customer support individuals with actual qualifications.
I mean, it is a chicken/egg problem.
We also have to ask WHY people are so willingly buying gold.
The Answer is the ability to exchange it for premium currency! If you give them the option to buy something for a set price with regular crystals, or for like 30-50% the price with buying Gold and exchanging, you can’t be surprised about the outcome.
Removing the ability to exchange alone would take a big hit on the income of gold-sellers.
But then there are other culprits like the RNG based progression, which will definitely also cause a lot of the people buying Gold, just to progress.
You never thought that all those high GS/Whale accounts receiving temp bans are suspect in some way?
If you could provide more details about those cases in private, that would be much appreciated.
If true, as I’ve mentioned, it is extremely infuriating. Such severe offense receives a slap on the wrist while some innocent Joe breaking rocks to get Mokoko gets 72 hour ban for Cheating, people who refunded to upgrade founders pack pre-launch get perma banned, and many people like me receive a perma ban without even an explanation why even after 20-30+ tickets asking for clarity.
wym why.
The punishment dont exist homie,
that’s the reason
IF there’s a way to get something cheaper human insticts go SKRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
assuming u bought a skin from the marketplace, (aka auction house)
if so your case will be hard to solve, since buying a skin from the auction house results in your obtaning the pack for some particular reason.
Eg, you bought the new skin from the new packs? You suddenly have the pack the skin came from. If the user chargebacks, you get banned for it.
Not even sure why you bring up RNG progression. That exist in different shape in literally every game. Why do you think people buy gold in WoW? Every other game in existence? Even PoE? You’re basically saying the problem will go away if you remove progression aspect of the game.
On the other hand, I agree that people are prone to resort to RMT due to extremely low price, which is only possible if gold generation was as easy as it is with minimal risk.
Exactly that.
The Game is literally designed to promote those Bots and Gold-Sellers.
Its actually funny how many bots got created.
The 1300 ilvl achievment showed 1.1% players having it yesterday and today its 0.9% and I doubt there were so many legitimate new players to push a metric affected by millions of players down overnight.
0.2% players at 1.3k banned? I doubt it, think just bad stats happening

On the contrary, I sold skins in the marketplace. Did not refund anything. After seeing topics arise in the forums, I sent them my Steam purchase history as well as my bank statement, and asked for clarity, and told them I will be more than happy to provide whatever information requested as I have nothing to hide.
Guess what? Same macro response every ticket saying I violated Code of Conduct, and they will not disclose further information and will not reply to any further email.
Actually scratch that, I was spammed in punika from a gold seller.
LOL, they are everywhere!
There are even T3 Bots farming Chaos Dungeons for the Mats.
Don’t even want to imagine how much Gold that one is making them
I tell you, this must be an advanced Super-AI learning the Game, and at some point they are replacing all the real players
