Engravings: Grudge vs All-Out Attack

I see a lot of hype around the Grudge engravement, but why choose Grudge over All-out Attack?
As I see it…

  • Grudge gives 20% dmg bonus to bosses, and you take 20% more damage as well
  • All-Out Attack Gives 20% faster holding and cast times and 20% damage to all monsters

Am I missing something?

Believe this is because All-Out Attacks damage buff only applies to Casting and Holding skills. Grudge is a flat bonus.

On most classes, most of their skills are neither cast nor hold so all out attack is a niche engraving that works great for very specific cases.
If you randomly happen to be such a class and spec I can see why you would be asking this. but for most people all out attack would affect 1-2 of their skills at most ~

Thank you kindly for your replies. Being a Sharpshooter, this engraving is not bad, because I use several skills with holding skills. At least I would use this till I can max out Grudge :slight_smile:

Grudge is only useful, once you get it to level 3.
