When using engravings in a stack they just count as a single sometimes? This previously happened when using a blue but thought it was a miscalculation on my part and didn’t think much since blue books cost nothing. This time i can confirm it was a bug. Was sitting at 17/20 for the epic barricade and got the Grand Prix event rewards for the week. Have to either buy from shop or wait another week to max it. If this isn’t fixed by the time I get to legendary engravings, I will actually mald.
same happend for me. was at 8/20 blue Igniter - tried to use 12, received an error message that tradeable engraving recipes cannot be deleted (or along the lines), so I bought other 12 from AH and used those - bottom line, my engraving is still 8/20 blue, recipes used were deleted! 
500 gold on my server, so … am I out of that gold and that’s it?

unfortunate to hear that. yeah, i hope they address this considering this has been around since launch.
