The thing is though, if you dont ban the RMTs, eventually your guild is going to die anyway cause half your guild can’t even get into the game due to bots taking up the slots.
You ban the buyers and take a hard stance against RMTing, you deter the bots since they can’t find buyers for their gold.
I mean would you risk your account if you spend 100$ for gold and it got perma banned. Frankly, if half the player base got banned all the better. The left overs will take over and the “true” game progression can be known and communicated with. If they see that the remaining playerbase is being slow, then maybe they will implement honing buffs and such.
I’m very close. I have a 1450 main, 2 1370+ alts and another Tier 3 alt. I’ve done Valtan hard twice and regular once, was lucky enough to get an 8/7/1 stone and hover around 25k in gold…With all that being said, buying any Relic accessories or Legendary Engravings is a pipe dream…I don’t see any way I’ll be able to afford them unless i get stupid lucky with a jewelry drop. But honestly 99.99% of jewelry that drops is absolutely shit. I don’t buy gold, I played the game right, and I don’t see how I can progress any further
Amazon and Smilegate know exactly what they are doing. They are allowing bots to boost player numbers for better marketing and profits. They dont care about the health of the game in NA, it’s all for profits. The game is being promoted in China and probably going to be published there soon, so they need the bigger player counts to boost this marketing. I feel bad for the CM’s that have to cover for these companies that only care about profits.
The problem with that is its to little to late… a lot players that are left currently still playing the game are RMT players, starting to perma ban them now will bring the numbers so low there will only be bots left.
