every item gives you DEX, my question was more what is gloves different from any other armor?
Can you not hover over your own armor and read the difference?
Glove > Shoulder > Hat > Pants > Shirt

Gloves gives more dexerty than other piece, and scales more. Each piece of your set gives differents stats and those stats scale difference. Talking about dexerty (dmg scale) from higher to lower is: gloves > shoulders > head > pants > chest. This is the reason why dps tends to upgrade gear in thi order and supps do it in the other way, cause the other way max HP scales better

Also @HaileyHeartbreak bothered about doing the maths 11 post above thisone and seems that perhaps 6 pieces effect set is not being applied outside trixion.

You can check upgrade list. Old relic has higher bonus stats per level than Brel relic.
That’s what I noticed.
That might explain, why it feels lower after Brel transfer unless you have to pump higher.
Nop actually my dmg sky rocketted a bit. Yesterday i saw 177M Surge ( not using KBW ) with my 1521ilvl. Now i m not sure where your dmg reduced properly but i can say for sure G4 brel Cube boss periodicly reduces dmg taken itself like %90 on certain mechanics. Not sure other gates has similiar outside of certain wipe mechs.
So set change does not reduce damage.

I actually took the time to dps test my lunar build in trixion and I am at about 5.5m currently, which is down from the 6.3 I was at before converting a brel piece.
If we assume some variance from increased proficiency with Lunar after running it for another week (nothing else has changed to effect the damage) this is again about 20% lower than it should be which would be the 6 piece entropy set, even in Trixion.
I initially thought the numbers seemed similar, but it appears I was mistaken. Perils of spending too much time smacking Lumerus in here, haha.
This is a really big issue though, that needs to be addressed. DB in my clown raid yesterday was hitting for about 60m on surge rather than the expected 75+ that he’d been hitting in clown the past few weeks. This even after again, converting and enhancing brel gear and increasing ilvl.
Worth noting, he also tried fixing the issue with gear set conversion and repair.

I’ve actually noticed that my damage is noticeably lower even without converting any set pieces to Brel gear. It seems like even without doing anything in particular the 6 set bonus isn’t applying as I’m doing roughly the 21% damage bonus amount of less damage anyways. Most noticeably my +15m Blitz Rush crits now hit for around 12m and the +70m Surge crits now hit for about 55m instead. All according to the calculation of PreviousDamage*0.79 or approximately so depending on the normal RNG variance
This happened after the patch and equipping the bracelet. Something is definitely utterly broken about set pieces right now. The difference is so crystal clear as I’m doing multiple scarecrow boss rotations right now all showing the exact same difference

I have actually also noticed that after upgrading my scrapper from 1490 to 1495 with a new piece of brel gear, my damage “seemed” lower than usual, like 20%ish. Very weird… ???

For anyone with some screenshots of damage before/after or the like, I did report this in the bug report section of the forums. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to capture appropriate screenshots of the damage change, but if anyone has something they’d like to contribute:
There is no issue with the Entropy set, that much is easy to confirm in Trixion.
On my PS Shadowhunter with 1 Brel piece, my DPS tests go down almost exactly 21% (lvl 1 6 piece bonus) when switching 2 pieces to Dominion and not activating the buff.

So far this entire thread is people speculating based on big yellow numbers of one skill in a raid environment. There are way too many variables (party synergy, boss debuffs, support buffs) to make that reliable. I went to a very obvious testing space to make a very obvious observation. The Entropy 6-piece is working as expected. Not anecdotally - factually.
True there’s also the fact that they’re claiming 20% reduction which could literally just be Keen 
. Someone has to actually show some numbers or something.
The facts are indeed the Keen blunt engr. I did upgrade on the same day 4 to 5 engravings 5th is keen blunt and I upgraded 1 piece of Brel. and I got exactly 0 improvements. The same dmg, I want to see real tests or some investigation of AGS or SG. But I doubt i will get one 
mean while i have nothing to do but continue playing as it is. 
I will test on my Blade tomorrow or next day when I upgrade the set. I will make a lot of screens of surge and blitz rush on normal guardian and on trixion, will tell you the results here. The difference is my blade don’t have keen blunt.
I was testing out my dps in trixion with some bracelets prior to brel (Hunger Reaper - non KBW). Had upgraded to a brel chest piece entropy gear and went back to trixion and noticed my damaged almost halved. Triple checked tripods, gear sets, engravings and nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary outside of the new brel upgrade. Other players have reported the same thing and attempted to swap out and back to the entropy set but didn’t fix it. Cant figure out a way to replicate my dps prior to the change as well. Not sure what is causing this change outside of the newly crafted brel gear.
