Considering making a EO SF for farming chaos dungeon and prob main to T3 (1340+) but curious what engraves/setup to have easier time ?
If you’re purely into non-raiding content I’d suggest to look into some other classes first, unless Soulfist class aesthetics/support capabilities really hooks on you - it’s just not as simple and smooth as on other classes…
Every content stage up to Argos EO is perfectly fine. T3 it starts to fall off a bit, nothing too dramatic - just not MVP contender level. Valtan raid is probably the point where you inevitably HAVE to switch to RS to stay relevent whatsoever.
Other than that I can recommend build guides such as found on maxroll.gg for engravings, skill setups, etc.
You can definitely play EO soulfist for valtan and up to 1445+.
However relic sets/gear should be crafted with RS in mind for later stages aka vykas/kakul+

i have an easier time clearing chaos dungeon on my pally at 1340 than my SF, not because the pally does more dmg but the aoes rotations are pretty smooth
you could do it but are you looking to farm chaos dungeons as braindead as possible or as quickly as possible? that would change the skills and runes/engravings you use probably.
but then again u dont really need any engravings to do chaos dungeons, if you really want to you can probably put 1 EO 3 adrenaline and another level 3 dps engraving, i dont even think it matters which one, ambush/hit master/precise dagger/cursedoll/grudge they all will be good enough for chaos dungeons
also not much of an advice but you’ll probably want to take crippling barrier as a skill for chaos dungeons

easy to play as support in group content, not too difficult to solo content either if you just use level 1 judgment engraving, skills have pretty bad animation delays imo, but aoes are decent and can clear trash pretty fast, the named monsters on second chaos dungeon map is also not challenging to kill imo.
but like for sure dps is lower than a normal dps class, its just that dps is not always the most important factor when considering ease of play (pressing heavenly blessing is always satisfying for me)
for me personally the biggest draw back is looking like a bulky muscle guy

Soulfist is a very versatile class, theres a lot of build options depending on which playstyle suits you, even restricting it to EO builds.
The one i like the most is a melee build with spirit absorbption+raid captain+adrenaline
Although for chaos dungeons preemptive strike is by far the best option and the build changes to the skills with the highest damage u can get in a single hit to make sure u will IK every mob
U can spam tempest blast in the 3rd floor with transcendency orb + hype 2 + cdr tripod which makes u clear it faster than any class ive seen so far
Preemptive strike alone is enough but mixing it with Cursed Doll or KBW will make it way faster
Personally, i wouldnt main it since ppl say u will inevitably have to change to RS in the future, and thats the last fun playstyle ever imo
But u know, ur char, ur build, ur rules, ur fun

Lol , playing EO soulfist and right build give u a close to another classes fast clear of chaoses , but u need 2 diff builds for raids and chaos , and 2 set of gems , so its some kind of pain in the ass.
But i like soulfist , when im trying robust , its like a meh , big clunky waitings for boost and this awakening , if u miss u fkdup , but when im trying the EO , its a diff class rlly , with proper build , im doing great amount of dmg all the time , top stagger , compare to other classes with same ilvl im 70-80% MVP lol
Curious about EO Build you using ?
I hate RS, I was building my SF on EO cuz I didn’t like the all or nothing Spirit Bomb style, but levelling her from t1-t2 was a pain cuz she hits like a noodle. But the moment I went to T3 and got the right stats and accessories, damn I really do see the potential. As most Martial Artists, they shine once they get their hands on relic gear. So hold on and play EO if you want to. As for Chaos Dungeons, no questions asked, It’s preemptive strike 100%. Almost every class goes for Preemptive Strike for chaos.
All I use is EO lv 1/2 , Adrenaline Lv 3 and Precise Dagger Lv 3. Full Swift, sub Crit. And you’re good! Slap Quick Recharge runs on combo skills and run Conviction+Judgement runes (if you have them) on multiple hit skills and you’ll find yourself pumping away.
Yeah just sick of dying on sorc too much (even as reflux and ignite spec) …
Lol, share my experience here, I created a EO soulfist as my alt and it just feels so underwhelming.
Not sure it’s my rotation or something that is wrong, but her skills feels weak - her pummel skill is so short in range and feels like hitting cotton.
Heard from couple of streamers that she would be viable in later T3 and almost run out of patience while pushing her to 1100.
Idk what’s of your skills doing no dmg or what are u complaining about, but when I’m was in t2 , almost all the time I’m was MVP doing 35-40% dmg and same % stagger lol
