Error 10010 only on new ISP

I live in the UK and changed ISP going from Virgin cable to City fibre, fibre optic. When I go to play on my new line I get error code 10010 I have tried all the steps I can find online and it still won’t let me connect. When I connect via my old provider it works fine. I raised a support ticket but was wondering if anybody had any clue about how to fix this.

Hello @david14.hall,

I’m sorry to hear about the error 10010 that you are receiving, normally this is related to the use of a VPN, this is a post that you can read in the following post made by one of our community managers.

Since you changed your ISP recently makes me thing that this new ISP it’s maybe using some kind of VPN for their services, would you mind reaching also to them to see if this is the situation?

Still, it’s good that you raised a ticket with our live support so that our technical team can investigate also from our end!.

Whenever you have an update please let us know. :leaves: :dagger:

Hi, good news ive gotten it to work. When they installed my new router guy said he had configured it a while ago. What ever he did either made it look like i was using a VPN or something the servers didnt like. So i gave it a good factory reset and what ever they configured got reset to default and hey presto im in. Thanks for your help, onwards to weekly reset! - David.

Nice @david14.hall! :sparkles:

Very happy to hear that and with that it help us to understand the nature of this situation!

Thank you and have a nice day!

I have an update after speaking with my ISP. When they set up a new customer they allocate thier router an IP address. When i have reset my router i have reset the IP back to thier default. Which lets me connect no problem but with the allocated one im getting the error message. The ISP use that default IP for setting up new routers/customers. So they kinda need it but im ok to reset my router and use it wehen i want to play. So i think possibly lost ark servers are seing me being allocated an IP and confusing it with a VPN or the batch of IP address they are using have been flagged. Its super strange my ISP are going to reach out to amazongames and see if they can find a mor e permanent soloution. Than me resetring my router everyday and taking thier IP address.
