Error 105: Corrupted File - help pls

Damn, let me know the outcome please. My friend is having same issue and none of the fixes work. I also see Lost Ark replying to a lot of people in chat.

My friend just encountered this 105 corrupted data error yesterday and hasn’t been able to play since, he doesn’t even make it to the character select screen before it crashes with the 105 error code. We have tried everything listed below with no luck.

-Validate files through Steam
-Uninstall and reinstall
-Changing it to full screen
-Disable steam overlay
-Disable all anti-virus programs
-repair game through EAC client in game folder
-Closed all background tasks

I’m at a loss for what to do next, any other suggestions?

Hi. Have been playing smoothly since headstart. So smooth in fact and even though I had already purchased the plat founders pack, I purchased a gold and then on launch purchased the Vanq. Zero issues logging in and getting in the game. Today however (I played this am and than again about 2 hours ago) took a shower and came back to error 105. Tried all of the trouble-shooting steps with zero improvement. NOTHING has changed on my end…

Got it work last night by reinstalling the game. Played for several hours. Went to bed. Woke up today, the game will open in the background and I can hear the birds but it won’t show on the screen, at all…

For this issue you can follow this troubleshooting related with the third party program EasyAntiCheat that is linked within Lost Ark:

  1. Open New World in your Steam Library.
  2. Right click on Lost Ark’s list title and then Go to Settings < Manage < Browse Local Files.
  3. Open the EasyAntiCheat folder.
  4. Run as administrator EasyAntiCheat_Setup executable file.
  5. Make sure in the drop-down within EasyAntiCheat Service Setup Lost Ark is the selected game.
  6. Press Repair Service.
  7. After this process verify Steam Integrity Check files: Steam Support :: Verify Integrity of Game Files (Steam Support :: Verify Integrity of Game Files ).
  8. Re-launch Lost Ark.

Nope, None of that worked. I have played 120 hours and this issue only started happening yesterday. In the drop down for EAC, it ony listed GAME 580. No option for Lost Ark. After doing that and validating game files, now the game won’t load at all. This time I can’t even hear it running in the background like I could before. Please tell me I didn’t spend 200 bucks on a game that is going to have these issues constantly…

Just uninstalled and reinstallled game. I can hear the game in the background again. It is on the taskbar. It is open in processes. Steams says it is running. I cannot get it to show on the screen.

Now we are going to setup Lost Ark to start fullscreen from the beginning,

  1. In your Steam Library right click on Lost Ark title and then select ‘‘Properties’’.
  2. In ‘‘General’’ Tab you will see a ‘‘Launch Options’’ subtitle and below a Chart; write down in that chart -fullscreen
  3. Close that Window and restart your computer.
  4. Make sure your Windows 10/11 doesn’t have any pending updates.
  5. Re-launch Lost Ark.

May I ask if you have a secondary hard drive in your PC? If yes so, please try to reinstall the game in the primary hard drive and then verify integrity of the Steam Files. This issue is related to the game’s installation data, so, please make sure to verify integrity of the Steam Files.

My friend does not have a 2ND hard drive.

I do have a second drive but I’ve been through this already.

I’ve not heard back from my Amazon ticket, I managed to resolve it myself.

I did two more fresh windows 11 installs and on the second time after lost ark not working I uninstalled Nvideoa Geforce Experience and the games worked ever since.

Cool. Looks like I’m one of you guys now. Totally barred from playing the game because they can’t figure out how to fix a bug.

I get this error on 1 of my alts ONLY. I can play on my main and my other alt, but when I load into my berserker, I get this error??? its not something on my end. pls fix!

so I added my steam folder an exception to my antivirus, delete, and reisntalled Lost Ark, not steam, and mine is working now!! Wish you the best.
