EU language servers

IIRC Thiraine is currently locked.
Unless you already have a character there, you won’t be able to play on that server.

This is complete crap BTW.
Its based off 350 replies from a random discord 3 weeks before launch.

Neria for example has 43 guilds apparently and 47% italian members.
Neria is around 90% english speakers from all over europe, theres a small amount of Italian/Polish speakers but most of the guilds (100+ guilds) are english speaking.

Same with Calvasus, it says 50% french but its actually predominately english with some german speakers.

The source you linked is totaly outdated. There was a second one which was properly made and almost 800 guilds signed up there. On the source you linked only 7 guilds signed up for Calvasus, so ofc its not a representative number in order to the current population of this said server, since everyone who didnt got into their desired servers due to the massive queues, just went “somewhere” in order to play. Also a friend of mine is on Neria and said there is a lot of italian and polish convos in all the chats, so idk if your statement with 90% english speakers is valid. Whats your source tho?

Hey, don’t hate. I’m new to this whole “lets leave the assigning of communities to servers to the players” game, and it’s just something I found… if people have better sources, I’d appreciate it!

At this rate though I guess I’ll just have to join Sirius and then language bully out anyone not speaking English… just as the other communities do on ‘their’ servers!

Im on Neria with most of my guild and friends, 90% of the chat is always chatting english.
Theres a few (8-10) polish speakers that spam in Caps every night but if you block them, you’d rarely see much Polish in the area chat TBH.

Theres other Polish players but they speak english for the most part.
Same with Italian players, most speak English and theres a few that spam in Italian but they get blocked pretty quick as well.

Thanks for info. Appreciated. @Soulinks Sounds like a server you could join and its not locked.

Beware though you’ll get warnings or suspensions for doing so.

This isn’t accurate - it’s based on guilds not generic playerbase. A server may have a higher proportion of English speaking guilds but that does not reflect the joe public unfortunately :frowning:

Guilds will tend to stick to guild chat further disassociating the general chat channels and letting them get taken over by other languages leading to the same problem.

FWIW I’ve seen Beatrice will be a viable choice for English speakers, Reddit strawpoll has had almost a thousand English speakers confirm they are moving there ahead of all the others so we will likely move there.

TBF, Beatrice is also apparently where a very popular german streamer and his fans are heading to as well. Beatrice is gonna be the new Zimmervale and have massive queues.

Hi, i think the community migration is probably the best option.
I know there are a lot of people that didnt think about it at the creation and randomly join Trixion for exemple, and then started to insult people for speaking french xD.

Also if there are some streamer’s communities than want to change, that could help. I mean now is the best time, the sooner the better.

I tried to join the reddit but it’s in private mode XD.

Now you do? We told you that would happen but you dismissed it and said it is not an issue…

It shouldn’t be an issue if the culprits behave like everyone else in the server considering they’re not even a majority there. For me is still a non issue until I run out of block list capacity.

Why not add RU language if mail.ru already have it. Or you not working with Russians ??

Dear Roxx,

It would be amazing if you guys could do this and enable a limited time but free server transfer for a few days.

Currently no matter which server you go to besides the early launch servers. People argue about how X or Y is German server, French or Spanish.
The area chat is extremely toxic because most of these people refuse to talk in English and others who do not understand them get annoyed by the fact that the chat is spammed with it.

As an additional suggestion it would be nice if we had a Guild recruitment channel so people can spam away their guild messages in any language instead of cluttering Area chat with it.

Just simply putting the country code in a [ ] would be perfect and with the ability to swap servers and keeping our progression, players would sort it out extremely fast and would give a chance for friends to reunite who are stuck on separate servers and don’t want to sacrifice multiple days worth of progression.

You can’t expect them to “think about it” when your average player just wants to play and doesn’t want to go and look for random community polls and spreadsheets that say x or y claimed the server.

If the servers thad [FR] or [DE] or [ES] or [TR] behind them then players would naturally migrate towards those servers and the rest of them would play on the others knowing fully well that its an EN speaking server.

AGS most likely has the data on how many players from X country are playing on Y server so if they’re willing to sacrifice some time and money to enable a short term migration while assigning countries to servers we would have a way more balanced experience.

If anything with the new region opening they could make one region English only and make the other one have all these different languages. That would clear up a lot of servers if the migration guarantees that their progress is kept.

But we will see, I really hope they will be able to do something like this because I’m sick of language wars on servers. Even when the server was voted english the minority just spams in FR or DE saying its theirs lol.

Because there is a RU server cluster ?

Ok. For DUMB ppl. I am leaving UK and would like to play this game in RU. But cannot do it because it not allow to do without VPN. Did you get it??

Yep, it’s extremely fun when one language that 80% of the server can’t understand spams the area chat and encourages even more non-english spams.

The problem is people don’t behave, global chat is supposed to be in a language everyone understands because its basic etiquette. No one cares about your language but everyone cares about the messages sent there as such it should be sent in an international language.

You can’t join a conversation, you can’t understand jokes, you can barely talk with others as people spamming just makes that few english sentences fly by.
Rerolled from Beatrice because of this and little did I know I ended up in a server which has the same issues although with a slight improvement.

MMO games are all about their communities, but its pretty difficult to have a healthy community when people refuse to participate in a way that most people understand. Just creates toxicity.

This is why language based servers would be good, it would be a gathering spot for all of these people who refuse to talk in english and just make the whole gameplay experience unfun.

They want to keep the players with their own server on their own platform and since there is a Russian exclusive server, it can’t be helped.

Beatrice is awful fo english speakers, it was voted by over a thousand german players to make it their own server (which shows on area chat).
The twist is that Sirius and the server with that starts with B are supposed to be english however some smaller German minorities also popped up there crying in area chat that its their server and spamming it.

There’s no “safe” place for english speakers unless you were lucky enough to get into one of the bigger servers like Thirain, Zinnervale etc.
