EU servers and different language preferences

Hi Team,

Not sure if you are aware, but there is this issue on a lot if not all of the EU servers, where major population is from specific country and they just spam the local chat on their languages. This by itself of course is not an issue as there are no limitations posted for it. But, imagine not being from their country and trying to fit into the server community ask for help or anything else. You would not feel welcome, nor accepted, nor part of anything. Since EN happens to be a common communication language in the gaming community, would be nice to keep it that way in server wide chat channels. Can we have either one of the following:

  1. Dedicate a server to specific Country/Language - i.e. French, German, Spanish (would need to have the option to transfer existing characters for players that were not aware at launch that some servers will be heavy on specific group, hence language.)
    or
  2. Dedicate local channels for specific languages - while keeping the major (zone) channel in EN? (would need some type of moderation in place)

While a lot of people laugh at this ‘issue’ others are quite frustrated for the reasons specified above. Imagine a server local zone where - French, German, Italian, Spanish, English, Bulgarian, Turkish etc. are spoken - a complete MESS and nobody can get anything accomplished.

Its already too late now … theres no time for language specific server announcement without having the server transfer feature online. It will do more harm than good. On the other hand adding separate local channel for dif language is a viable and good idea all around

I do think so as well, transferring thousands of players (and even more characters) could be a hassle. Local channels is easier and achievable. Not sure how are they going to moderate them, not aware if in-game admins are/will be present at some point.

there is no chat moderation at all. Fairly new servers with no unofficial claims are constantly throwing rocks at each other in the chat. Racism is rampant. Chat filters most of the English slangs but not other languages. Adding additional official chat tabs with fix a lot of issues. Really poor insight from amazon.
