EU west - Server - change location before starting the game

The game takes quite a while to start up.

Then connecting to EU central (by default) will often give you a time out, in the evening.

Also I like to swap between the Regions to test, and compare, or simply giving it a try.

ATM, however it is hard to change to EU west

  • you are making it harder for people to go there, when they are on EU central
  • because you first have to successfully “login” to LoA, then you can change the Region (which is not even possible in the evening, so you basically need to restart 3 times …by using US…)
  • then you have to restart LoA

Please,

  • give an option somewhere, to change the Region, before Launching (or allow to change the Region and not have to restart), that is easy to notice - cause I’m getting tired of browsing through discords, thousands of websites each day for hours for little information (…) on what should be standards, and user friendly.
    ( - Such as missing language tags in EU, which costs me many many hours to investigate on let alone restart characters on another server after finding it’s italian/polish (80% spanish, or french/german…), back in the start. This game’s release isn’t fun.)
  • I don’t want to having to start LoA twice or tripple

Just make the game fun to play. Not traps everywhere (char-restarts due to server, or lost RLM, or blue crystal one-click-payments like in the Roster-stash, or Stronghold, …), cause then people will have less fun and play something else.

PS: I am not here to brag, but speaking of region-swap: I have the gold founder’s pack, and the char-expansion-slot won’t be on EU west, which - btw - was the reason I opted to buy it. (despite the announced “compensation” gift). On top some Royal Crystals might already be spent…

  • Adding the char expansion slot for Gold and Platin Founder Packs is a must IMO. There is no reason not, to because it’s only for one server, anyways, there is no advantage on a new Region!

If they want to improve the servers, and gameplay fun,

  • they should send new people to EU west by default, at least.
  • for instance also make clear there are many region wide features. So they are not afraid of not finding people - which is really unreasonable, because look at it now. But I noticed it since headstart & release - and I kept telling new players they shouldn’t worry about that but the queues.

They should give us our crystals and a pass so we can move nothing works now, You cant even matchmake on Neria and when you use the shop half the time you don’t even get your crystals, i lost about 1k crystals last night.

Yea, and the servers of Central seem to get FULLER. Not less.
People seem to storm onto Central nontheless, I have the highest queue on my server this evening since ever, we never had that much, certainly people came here instead of moving away - and myself actually gave it a try.

They need to make eu West a default.

Yea I get it with the crystals, I had some errors and miss-one-click payments… not makes me want to buy in the future.
