So anybody understands what happens with those Event Gems? Do they stay lvl 5 forever, will there be consumable (lvl up) to higher once the event is over ? or at least made transferable ? Otherwise… they just become useless within like month or so. I understand the appeal of helping new players, but if somebody wants to main Reaper, their gems won’t be good for long… if you could transfer them between your Characters, and keep it on an alt that would be already huge. Even just after the event so it doesn’t get stuck on your character that might want to main.
I dont know, but, anything ‘event’ usually poofs eventually so i wouldnt be surprised if that happened end of january
I thought you could just fuse them so they become roster bound ?

The event gems are a good base foundation for an alt since you receive enough Dmg and CD gems to do your setup. They cost no silver to roll so you can easily get what you need before you upgrade them naturally with other gems during play. I dunno what you guys expect? This is a KR MMO. You get free stuff to get your attention based on what the company deems won’t impact their bottom-line too much and to pique interest in hopes you interact with the shop. shrug

yeah you cant do anything with them… which make sense for now as they event last… and OP bc it cost no silver to change. so fair enough but they need to free them after event is done

Fair lol. I expect them to be a one time thing. If they had planned for them to unlock or be of more use they probably would’ve at least made them roster bound. It’s best to expect the bare minimum and erring on the side of caution with Lost Ark unfortunately =/. Transparency is kinda lacking if there is a vision outside of “Legion Raid good, please Gamba!”.
