If amazon continuously allows for bot gold to circle around in all 5 regions, why tf would someone have to play detective and need a crystal ball to know if they are being paid in legit or non legit gold? Do you people have 3 brain cells that you use for basic functions and that’s all? We all understand that gold was made by bots but it is NOT YOUR CONCERN, or at least it shouldn’t be, when you are selling an item or a service. It’s all on amazon/sg, no one else, period. I should not have to look into a fking crystal ball to determine what kind of gold was used to buy my service. I couldn’t give 2 flying fks about that streamer, and I am someone who is heavily against RMT, I personally wouldn’t use it even if it wasn’t against the ToS because I think lowly of people who do. But again, that is not the point. I should not play detective, it’s not my job, I am playing this game to have fun, not to hunt down players who potentially bought gold off of 3rd party to put them on my blacklist spreadshit and never do any trades with them.

Accordingly to a comment in this post https://www.reddit.com/r/lostarkgame/comments/rseupw/esther_weapons/ the item to upgrade esther weapons is dropped at a extremely low chance in clown and brelshaza raid, but that don’t mean esther weapon will come with clown for us, it may very well don’t come at all for us, it depend on how AGS/SMG will decide what to do with it in our version.

For all we should care about is that he was selling a service for 500k, he earned his 500k legit and got banned for it. He should not care where the gold came from, he does not have tools to allow him to see if someone swiped their card or RMTed for that gold. Besides 500k split among 7 people is like 70k each which is far from outrageous price.
If you dropped 100 quality spec/crit igniter 5/grudge 3 necklace and sold it for 450k, do you deserve a ban? Because you know for sure that only RMTers have that kind of gold, right? You definitely deserve a ban for selling it.

We are just chatting, I told you that RMT disgusts me, would legit have 0 reasons to play the game even if I was gifted millions by amazon today. To a sandbox enjoyer like myself, any kind of outside help completely kills the game but unfortunately most players are not like that. I am by no means defending that guy, I didn’t know he existed until this happened, if he is guilty he should stay perma banned. But not for that specific case because he was not directly involved and it’s 50/50 on whether he tried to cheat or not. But because it’s impossible to prove for amazon, he should not be banned for it, what if he truly is innocent? (just entertain the thought)
We all know that stuff like 1200g GHLs was funded directly by RMT gold and we abused it by selling leapstones for outrageous prices. My point was if they allow for that gold to be spread around due to their incompetence, no one should be punished for accepting gold like that. I am again not defending him, but I also don’t believe amazons appeal support because I know how highly incompetent everyone working for that company is, starting from people managing this forums to much more important roles. I can trust them as far as I can throw them if they say that they “carefully looked into his case” like they do with 99.99% of all other bans. You have truly innocent casual people getting perma banned who never had more than 5k in their bags and other random shit like that and never getting any chance to appeal because they blow them off right away. You know what happened when I dismantled my relic piece to re-craft something else and didn’t get my relic materials back? It’s not about catching everyone who RMT’d. It’s about catching the ones that matter, and where they can prove are guilty.

up until recently, market was around 80-90% of my total weekly gold and l’m sure majority of that came from rmt whales. people just spend too much time on the forums crying about boo hoo market is doomed and its impossible to buy anything!! without doing as much as their time gated content for the week. plus, bots outnumber degenerates like me probably 100:1 and casuals a similar number so while 99.5% is an exaggeration, its probably not far from the truth
l mean just look at how fragile peoples’ egos are. every big name is “f2p btw” “market flipper btw” when in the comfort of their private discords, a lot of them rmt, whale, and bot infinite chaos even to this day
