Everyone I know quit

Thats a jammer

its because koreans know northamericans are very dumb and they will pay for stupid things in life they tested it in argos and it worked for them so i doubt they put enough materials to get to each Gearscore needed for each content.

like i play for like 1300 hrs 5 alts 1355 main 1411 all f2p no pass nothing and im missing a lot of fatleapstones whiteknights will say youre not playing the game well , but none of them can show me how to get more leapstones if i do everything the game offers , im not even getting hype on valtan im getting burn doing same shit every day

I got to around 1415 and have since quit myself. There were many things I loved about Lost Ark but also many things I hated. I really enjoyed the weekly content but really disliked the daily grind.

I’m also not a big lover of alts, I enjoy having the option to mix it up but dislike that you essentially need them to keep up with the curve.

That being said, I think part of me quitting was the fact that I have realised I don’t want to commit to MMOs anymore, there is just too much daily grind that it feels like a second job and that you’re missing out if you dont get to play that day. I was logging in, checking things off my to do list, resetting the list and going to bed, that style of game isnt for me anymore.

No wonder, I seriously feel like an idiot when I waste my time doing chaos dungeons for few stones then look at RMT’ers going unpunished with 1490 and full page of 10 gems.

Get to know new people and swoosh not everybody you know quit. It’s magic

Burn the witch for casting magic and bringing 3 month old threads back from the dead! GET EM!

they gathered data from 3 releases before ours and still managed to fk up, pretty sad

Funny seeing some old faces in this thread that no longer post on these forums.

Ngl, my ingame friendlist had more than half of its full 50 on the main as well as alt characters removed due to people quitting the game and not logging in for 80+ days. It’s pretty sad.

Why do people play games?
to be the best or to have fun?
Why do you play games?

lets have some examples shall we?

what is the point of playing diablo 3 seasons if someone will have his friend play on his account while the other one sleeps and acrew 24h gametime 7 days in a row
there is nothing me as an individual can do

what is the point of me playing league of legends if some 16yo dude will pick up the game and become challenger in his first year?
i will never be able to compete with these gifted players

what is the point of me starting to train sprinting as i will never have the genetics of Usain bolt and will never be able to compete against people like him

might as well crawl in a hole and die if all i’m doing is comparing myself to the top of the crop

if you wanted to be the best you could have been the best even f2p
you didn’t want to put in the work
so why cry about it?

i’m personally playing lost ark because i enjoy the game
i don’t care where Johnny is with his credit card contributing to his gearing
i’m not competing with johnny and johnny is not competing with me
my enjoyment of the game has nothing to do with Johnny

again if your goal was to be on top you should have worked to be on top instead of pickign your nose and playing the bare minimum

some people are playing for 16-18h a day every day playing 2 accounts bussing and playing the market
but ofcourse your 4h a day is too heavily impacted by botters and rmters

Necro.

That’s only part of it, but when you’re dealing with F2P crowd you’re basically dealing with garbage. The images below are from an hour or two ago, that happen because players were not listing to one person (a silver rank no less).

Same in my case. Everyone i know quit - Me who have no friends

Find new friends. The community is big. Join some Community discords and search for some active guilds.

You can make new friends let’s be friends

i mean shit literally guilds lv 10+ even 14-15 half filled cause everyone left are dead.

literally entire guilds you just see ā€œlast login 1 month ago, 2 months ago, 3 months ago 4ā€ā€¦

sheeet they living the life stress free we still here with daily abuse…and for what?

just to suffer it all over again after 1 month legion raid and a new class rinse repeat?

wtf are we doing…

I used to not care about rmters until my bard got held hostage in a rmt guild ruin where a 1575 zerker failed to do valtan mechanics for over an hour until they finally ended the raid. God that was hell. Too bad ags promotes rmter identity protection so i couldn’t even post that guild and their names to exploit them lol.

One aspect I like in games like this is playing the market to help you gear up. But not this one with botters, rmt and bussing ruining it. So besides the rng, honing and repetitive dailies just to pass stringent requirements to participate in once a week fun raids, it’s quite unfun if not draining.

This is just not a MMO by our standards that’s it. They tend to call everything that has online multiplayer mmo’s nowadays … even heavily instanciated online enhanced arpg’s. Old school single shard worlds (and still technically challenging to make actually) are the real deal.
