No one should be expected to aquire top of the line endgame gear that they will use for likely the rest of their lost ark careers easily, of course it’s going to be easier for the established player, it always is.
Buying the most expensive books on the market for the newest class is never going to be cheap, ever.
Conveniently, a friend of mine went back to WOW last month. I asked him, never played wow before, how long would it take for me to get BIS items and participate in end game raids. He said realisticlly I’m looking at 2 or 3 months. Sounds a lot like how long it would take a new player here in LOA.

Well it certainly sounds like it. Just take the disconnect issue that’s been here for weeks now, they still haven’t been able to resolve it. If it’s not mismanagement, then it’s absolutely incompetence.

200k at the start until things settle, sounds way more reasonable.
I made 150k gold with my roster this week. Just to get the books will take me 3 weeks. And after that I havent even bought a single good accessory for 5x3 summoner, so accounting for that it will take me another 300k gold~

You also need few hundred thousand gold just to HONE that character up from RAW honing costs.

why would I be mad. I am a whale myself. I play this game a metric shitton, have a 1590 weapon main sorc with 7x 1490+ roster, about as much jacked of an account as geared as datmodz is.

All I said is that this argument the other guy gave is straight up bullshit and far from what the reality for new players really look like. I can only imagine its not a very fun experience for those players. Even for normal players that do not DEGEN this game out like a 2nd job this is extremely freaking expensive to just gear out one single character. For gear that you replace in april again since ancient gear is around the corner.

At this rate, we’ll get Slayer next year (not suprised tho) and most likely we won’t have these presets, but the ugly ones AGS/SG decided to add (all in the name of westernization).

Makes me wonder how many entertainment products is gonna be ruined under Amazon in the name of westernization. The Ring of power show is ruined because of their woke and shitty story. They even say they want to honor the author of Lord of the Rings by keeping the story tied to the lore yet they change so many shit that it isnt even like the lore anymore. Great way to honor Tolkien and his famous works.
Now we got AGS trying to hide their woke modification in the name of Westernization.
