Reruning the story is basicly made for masochists. Same as farming Solas.

What value does grinding 15h of story provide to players?

Watching what you wrote hurts my eyes lol. Allowing players to have fun instead of mindlessly grinding story for many hours wouldn’t hurt anyone. Game being new doesn’t change a thing, as we already got many powerpasses, and grinders have 5 T3 alts.

I got 3 T3 alts, and I can’t make story anymore. It is painful for everyone that value a time and didn’t buy a gold from goldsellers.

Story Express doesn’t skip you either.
It’s rewards for completing the story, which you lose if you use Knowledge Transfer.

I’d rather do normal honing and skip the g-spam. Seems like a good way to make money. Of course, selling skins seems like a good way to make money and they have zero interest in it.

Express is the best thing they added to the game, if you dont want to play the story again, pay gold.

I am still confused here.

I have a new lancer she is lvl 11. Do I need to manual lvl her up to 50 by doing the main/side quests, not interested in the knowledge transfer thing, and then once at lvl 50 choose her for the express event.

OR

Can I take my lvl 11 lancer use my vern powerpass to complete all main/side/roster quests up to and including shushire which should give her lvl 50 then choose her for the express event?

Will this second option, vern powerpass+express event after allow me to do all express missions and get all the express rewards?

U can do either. Lvl manually to 50, or use a vern pass/knowledge xfer to 50 then select for express event. I think the very first reward for express event is reach item lvl 250 which you should get as soon as you equip the free 302 gear.

So tell me again how “making t3 alt is easy” and not have to do story or knowledge xfer? And somehow express event makes that slower?

I would rather not xfer as that cost more gold than I am willing to part with thus my question if I can vern powerpass then do exress event missions instead of manual level up or xfer.

yup you can vern power pass too, express is best started on a fresh T1 toon to get the most out of it.

It’s an help to honing, not to skip the game completely. You have Knowledge Transfer and Powerpass for that.

many of us played through the story 10 times already.
if they release story pass in 2 years most people wont need it anymore because their roster is already complete with t3 chars.
i for one only have 1 char below ilvl 600 for example and 3 chars of my t2s didnt do rohendel for example and 2 are stuck at ilvl 600 because i dont want to do yorn again

story is literally just running around press G
the worst part is always the useless dungeons that take a big chunk of time

i would say the biggest problem with the stories is that you absolutely get 0 rewards. should give alts more mats from completing. the storyat least (shards at least…)

you have until july 28h to do all.
4 region to do, you can easily clean a questline on a WE (3 years during 2 non work days… far from “no life” )
And you get 3 month to do all…

Complaining for complaning ?

the solution we will get in the end is 100% honing change, and getting 2 honing level at once… i think in june or july we will get it ?
Such change make a need for mats really low.

yeah I agree you get nothing worth while at all doing story while levelling until you get towards the end of Vern anyway and Rohendel where you start to get T1 mats.

Vern KT and PP are similar, although not completely the same.

However, past Vern, KT will require the proper ilvl and only completes the main quest for that continent. Powerpass Feiton unlocks everything and gives you a set of ilvl 960 items

i mean ilvl requirement is fine if you have a hyper express but it will cost you
1000 + 1400 + 1800 + 2400 gold or something like that.
totally not worth it IF you have the time, even if it means slogging through the story

the mats from the story after 50 are basically non existing and you wont even be able to afford 1 hone lol
at least the story should carpet bomb you with 45% health pots, but nope
