We don’t have Korean ISPs over here. Our internet will drop for a few seconds every now and then. It would be nice if instead of closing the game when you lose connection for 5seconds to extend it to at least 10seconds please.
Every day around the same time I get two ~10s connection drops with 30s in between them. It’s happened for over 10 years through multiple modems. It’s not on my end. We have dog internet in NA. I refer to it as “some guy pulling a big lever in the power plant.”
I don’t DC in WoW. Everyone just runs in place for 10s then I can continue. This would be nice for this game too. Instead I often forget it’s coming and lose a chaos dungeon or boss kill b/c the game takes 5minutes to re-launch.
If this does make the cut to relay to SmileGate please be specific about “extending the dropped connection time period before assuming the player full DC’d”. This might actually be something they can fairly easily change. I understand the game will always take 5 mins to launch, changing that is unreasonable unfortunately.
