as u can see the character even didn’t finish the first prologue and he got the reward.
Let me tell you something, as a player who played in the RU server, because of RU’s bad economy Smilegate didn’t give knowledge transfer to the RU server. they announced it, but 1 or 2 days before the release date, they announced it because the bad economy of RU does not give them the knowledge transfer, even right now they have the Elgacia patch but they haven’t knowledge transfer.
so if Smilegate sees some economic problem in the West version for sure it will remove some features from the West version and then you cry more.
you can call them greedy or whatever u want but it is what it is. u can keep playing or u can leave the game. Smilegate doesn’t give F, because they have their own kr market which supports their game enough so stop complaining
My take is… Smilegate is behind all of this decision. They’re probably the greedy ones and not as angelic indie company as we always believe. AGS is just a puppet to take all the blame.
As the monetary source funding the game, AGS is not giving SG money and then bending over and letting SG do whatever the hell they want. What business on Earth invests their money into a company and lets them run free with it?

as the bla bla what u said u are, I have 1 question. when even AGS mentioned every patch and every step is under SG control and even patch note is in Korean lang and they have to translate it do u think AGS doesn’t give money to smile gate??
If they can send the mail without maintenance, they can disable the mail without a maintenance. The maintenance was there to deduct extra pheons. They couldn’t figure it out without fucking everything up so they came up with a BS story that they didn’t need to since not a lot of people “exploited” the bug.
was this a new character you made during the mail madness or u made this new character way before the mail happen and it was sitting in trixxion.
Cause so far all i heard is people with friends tried it works not themselves. A lot of people who tried it themselves SO FAR DID NOT WORK. There has been thousands of post of people trying the character recreating method and non worked so far.
Yes characters before the mail are sent got the pheon mail. any new characters made after those mail were sent didnt get it. There are thousands of post of people saying the same thing.
Basically if u have a pre-existed character sitting in trixion waiting for summoner or reaper. You will get the mail. However, if u made the character on the same day and same time the mail was sent, you would not get the mail.
EDIT: The rest of this post is meaningless, I checked and Pheons are server bound, not regional.
Matter of phrasing again, but personally I have 3 level 1 characters on a different server of the same region. I make them on a related server for the ‘free’ 6 character slots and to design looks for future characters. You can save the appearance as a preset and apply it to another server when you unlock a slot.
Particularly before the recent slot expansions I had a bunch.
I didn’t log in before the servers were already in maintenance that morning, but are Pheons accountwide currency?
So if you have 6 level 1 characters premade on 5 different servers (which you had no intention of playing, but they simply existed) in the same region because you just like making characters … and checked their mail maybe that would have been an unintended outcome from the company’s perspective?
Of course that couldn’t be premeditated since we weren’t told in advance, but it could seem very unintended I guess.
Though no downtime would have been needed unless to claw back those ‘unintended’ Pheons from characters.

They can definitely remove or change the mail without doing maintenenace because I logged in exactly 5 minutes before the maintenance yesterday and there were no attachments, no free pheons or other stuff on the 3 characters I checked before server shutdown - just a mail with only text…
