Failed last 1100 upgrade 5 times at very high chances , wth

the only raid you can “queue” for in WoW is LFR with ilvl you can achieve by few hrs of BGs, but imagine having and option to make your own grp, or grp up with better geared friends and clear normal/HC?. As i said, you can go mythic NAKED.
having options is the difference

i feel ur pain! there is still a path forward don’t give up

Failing weapon upgrade hurts you the MOST. Always priorities weapon upgrade first, and you never want to leave it last.

Get out of the fucking game

That’s not the only option and you know it, stop crying. Go to 100% pity in T3 at +15 then come cry to me about it.

I failed on 99%.

Ought to be an achievement for failing with a 1% of… :stuck_out_tongue:

RNG at it’s best.
Like someone mentioned. It’s no different then waiting for a raid boss to drop what your looking for.

Wait until you see what’s happening at 1340+ Probably another post from you I guess.

Just being angry for a moment and waiting for pity. I had already one T3 was failed 12 time 14->15

I just leave the picture here:

I had a similar experience a few days ago in T3 going from 13->14. Literally was dumping percent chances each time and was getting well over 30% each roll. failed about 6-7 times fully stacked and got 99.97% artisan. I actually had to fail an additional time(which I did), to get the remaining .03% artisan energy to get the guaranteed success. it was not a great feeling, but i just imagined it as each fail getting me closer to a longer term goal.

It’s not rigged as far as I can tell. I had 93 upgrades and 19 fails t1. I have had 5 fails in t2 to 1020. While it doesn’t feel good at the time, everything adds up mathematically enough that’s it’s not even a statistical outlyer.

RNG is RNG.

“WHY AM I FAILING AT 85%?!?!?!”

Because there’s literally a 15% chance that you will fail.

This game has many features of a job.

Daily Tasks.
Weekly Tasks.
Calendar Events.
Earning Money.
Performing labor.

When you think about it, this is a helluva lot like a job. Is it more game or job?

Who knows.

I feel you mate but if you’re getting upset now you’re gonna pop a blood vessel once you get to 1340. I’m not defending the game brw, just… prepare yourself mentally. Best of luck in ur honing.

It happens.

I just failed a 90% going from +12 to +13 in my weapon. Was saving the stars for +13. Should have used them. Got greedy snd though should be ok at 90%…

Should have used it :smiling_face_with_tear:

I generally deal with it by logging on the next day and trying to upgrade again.

here is a link to explain percentages.
Percentages - An Introduction | SkillsYouNeed.

I really feel like the % that appears is far off from what it really is. In t3 (actually 1358) I have something near 4-5% success rate from 1340 to 1358, using a ton of materials to higher my chances. But I always end up going until I have 100% artisan’s energy. It feels terrible. When I have like 30% chances I feel like I should win 1 time nearly 3-4 upgrades, but I end up failing 40 times in a row, and I’m not taking in account the increasing % chances.
With today’s reset I expected atleast 3 items to level up to lvl 12-13 but ended up with only one over 20 tries. I reached the full artisan’s energy on the second item and passed the first one with the full artisan’s energy also (a few try went into the weapon now halfway through artisan’s energy also) .

To be fair I would feel better if they wasn’t showing that % rate and there was just artisan’s energy that we had to fill up to upgrade our equipments. I wouldn’t feel my hope crushed under unluck or fake %. I know human brain sucks with percentage and stuff like that. But all I want is that, when I see 30%, It works 30% of the time, not 3000/10000 (if you get what I mean, like rng being “controlled” enough that out of 100 tries, I win 30 times and not be able to fail 7000 times before finally “winning” because it feels so so bad)

Enjoy it t3 quickly gets rediculous I got 1340 and I am just either selling or hording material until the honing updates. Not worth the headaches.

Without seeing your post I said the same thing.
