I have NO idea what this community complains 24/7.

Like for real. The Forum andies are unhappy. Thats why you are here. If you would enjoy the game, you would be ingame and do your job (ofc there are some exceptions).

Lets get this realistic:

There are things you are not supposed to know. F.E.: Unfinished patchnotes, unfinished roadmaps. If Amazon doesn’t know / haven’t decided yet, what update will comes next etc. they simply cant tell.
Also: About the Pheon abuse, they simply can’t tell us how the abuse worked. They just told us, that it was possible. Is this bad communication? No it isn’t.

The roadmap shows the way we leading to in the next 2 Months. That’s transparency. Is this a part of the bad communication? It can’t. The communication on this topic is fine.

How about problems in the Forum? They answer ALOT of your questions. Sometimes the answer gets outdated by decisions AFTERWARDS.
For Example: People asked if the Shadowhunter Visual Update comes with this patch. Roxx answered that she hasn’t seen something like this in the patchnotes. The Shadowhunter update came still.
So Roxx worked with outdated information, yet she gave the answer.

What people here adressing to is probably the auction house and bot problem. And because the CMs don’t respond to THE SAME TOPICS 24/7, people say “Amazon doesn’t communicate with us and only want our money.”.

The reality is: They read it, they know it and they WORK ON IT. Yes, only because they don’t tell you THE SAME PHRASE YOU WILL ALWAYS HEAR “We are aware of the situation and we work with smilegate on a solution” doesn’t mean, that they don’t work.

Lets get the things real: Whenever you guys are unhappy and do a threat, there is a high chance that it got seen. If more people talk about it and the problem is a serious one, amazon is working VERY fast on it.
Pheons f.E: We seen MILLIONS of Topics about that. How unfair and cashgrabbing that system would be. In the last 3 Months, the amount of Pheons giving out has raised ALOT. They LISTEN and ADJUST their systems on YOUR FEEDBACK.

Now standing here and saying “Amazon doesn’t care” Is not just simply false, no it is an insult to the hard working CMs and Employees that tries to fit this game for the majority of you.

The real problem is not Amazon, its not smilegate and its not the bot. I think, the major problem that his game has is, that the community in reddit and forum consists of 60% dogs**** and entitled people that want to dictate how the game has to work.
That gatekeep others and make the experience of all players worse. Being selfish and treating this game as a fulltime job, not allowing others to have fun in their own pace.

Let me explain it:
People here cry EVERYDAY that this game is so expensive, Pheons ruin the market and you cant gear your char, therfor you cant play.
The reality is: You can easly clear Valtan with 2x3 vykas with 3x3. The COMMUNITY wants you to have 4x3 or even 5x3 otherwise you are not allowed to run with them. Leading to the demand of high quality gear and a high amount of pheoncost (You can easly run vykasn/valtan HM with legendary gear, but people force you to use relic).

People force you to run major engravings and wont allow offmeta / make it very hard for offmeta builds to find parties.

All these problems are made by the COMMUNITY. Yet the forum and reddit andies creating topics and face that problem to amazon.
Its not their fault, that this game has so many selfish and egocentric people. Thinking that they are the best and deserve to run with the whales and elite players.

So a TLDR:

Amazons communication is good, the community is fcking dogsht

PvP season was dead for 8 weeks and they reset the shop, introduced a bug with buying the new mount, fixed nothing with the matchmaking system or rating decay, and continue to staunchly ignore anything PvP-related.

No, they are not improving their communication one bit.

Ooff, I gave up on playing ranked PvP in MMOs.

I feel like it’s common for PvP to get ignored or get a lower priority by the devs, so I just gave up and I don’t want to risk getting invested again.

I used to do a lot of ranked PvP in WoW, and people did say LA had a good PvP system, but… nah… I got too traumatized.

I stopped reading here. You are either a troll or someone who only comes to the forums when there is maintanance. First, they did tell you how the abuse worked, however it was not true as it was tested by me and by many others.

As for why the communication is bad? Well, most of the time what they write in the patchnotes are unreliable and/or they get changed without any notification. Our patches happen randomly no matter what they say. So it’s mostly a guess. KR gets roadmap for half a year, we struggle to even put together a roadmap for next week. About the forums, yes they answer some but to say they answer a lot I disagree AND they give you answers which are not straight up answers most of the time.

While what you are saying is true that they don’t need to repeat themselves, they only have cm-s that answer topics in NA time so if something happens during EU prime time when NA is sleeping or simply they are not up yet, we are left with topics that are unanswered for weeks. Even if it was a major exploit or game breaking issue.

next. Amazon does not care still. Why is there no different maintenances for EU and NA? Why are NPC-s black that are originally not? Why was out shadowhunter changed from the KR version? Why don’t we have maintenances announced prior to the maintenance ( Best example is yesterday’s where it was said on twitter 45 minutes after it happened ) and there are so much more.

You can run valtan without engravings that’s your problem, but I don’t want to run valtan for 2 hours just to clear it and that is true for most raids.

So here is a question:
There are approximately 2 weeks for Brel’s release. However we still have nothing concrete that we will get it by dec 14 or it will be deplayed. Remember the tripod update that had very little warning beforehand? ( letters were only seen by a few and there was a blue tiny text on the bottom left that was it. Nothing that would tell you exactly what is changing in game ) However KR had their warnings 3 months before they even had this change. How come we can’t get foresight on these?

Ya, someone with a working brain. The majority of the community acts like entitled children and feel they need a personal DM every day from SG/AGS team so they feel “listened” to.

I think it’s been decent. For the controversies I’ve been here for they have handled it ok:

People were concerned about the tripod change without having an in-game message. They put a message in the game.

People were upset about them taking back the mistakenly paid out pheons. Everyone got 60 for free.

People are throwing a temper tantrum about the dark tint on the shadowhunter. I made my own level 1 just to check it out and realized everything is just a racist tirade with misleading pictures and conspiracy theories about “wokeness”.

There’s been issues with disconnects and AH. Clearly it is something they are working on. On EUW where I am playing it has not been a huge issue and I might be biased because of it. Obviously it is something they should fix asap, but since I don’t know how bad it is in other regions it is hard for me to have a position on it.

There’s issues with bots. This is very hard to fix as other games struggle with it just as much. Especially as a free to play game there really isn’t any barrier to making new accounts. I don’t think it is a fixable problem with current technology other than just keep banning the bots, which clearly they are doing.

poor take , AGS is the only reason SG publish this game to the west , without AGS they don’t even care , pretty sure they don’t care about us as well , their only mission is hand out the patch to AGS and that is , since AGS refuse to hire a devs team every problem the game has or somehow AGS fk up themself AGS have to send back to SG and beg them to fix

They did not tell you exactly how it worked. Maybe it worked for a very few moments when they send the messages until they realized that this is abusive and they stopped this sending out immediantly?? That would explain why some of my friends NEVER got a message even when they were online one hour after the mail were send. So it seems, there was a point, when they had to stop sending out the messages.

The point is: Non of us know 100% exactly if or if this exploid did happen or not. So stop acting like you know any better only because it didn’t work for you. Its your word against amazons in this case.

WDYM? All the things IN our patchnotes get to us like they announced it. The messages b4 the patchnotes are sometimes not 100% correct. Maybe because they don’t know it better until they get the patchnotes FROM SMILEGATE.

I appreciate the inputs from both sides.

I do personally think they’re doing a crap job. I don’t care if it’s AGS or SGG fault, I do think there’s a serious problem in communication and I feel like things are getting worse.

But I’m glad to hear other points of view.
