I love Lost Ark and that makes me come to the forums quite often to see how the community feels about certain topics, this made me notice how badly the community wants to be updated on stuff all the time and the team is not delivering on this front.
Expanding on this i really apretiate the CM’s answering on some post’s (that is great) but i feel that most of the times the answers are not real answers and that is pushing the community against the team…
As an example for this i will take the roadmap, this was a extremely hot topic a couple of weeks ago, a lot of players wanted to know when the roadmap was going to release and CM’s kept responding with “soon”. this made a lot of ppl mad, ofc soon is not really anything, soon can be weeks, months, even years.
This has been a reocurring issue with comunication and i would like to offer a couple of measures that could be taken without too much trouble to avoid this kind of lack of real answers in the future.

Please use time windows: I haven’t seen any CM giving us time windows, it gives you guys wiggle room and it keeps us informed, replacing “its comming soon” with “its coming between X date and Y date” whenever its posible, it’s 1000x times better and it helps us plan ahead.

Please avoid using “soon”: as i said this only makes ppl mad and it does not give us any information, if you can’t tell us just say “we can’t tell you” its much better than “soon”

Stop holding information to generate hype, its not working its just frustrating and not at all a fun game, a prime example is the roadmap again, i am willing to bet you guys knew it was coming at that date yet you did not tell us anything, it was extremely annoying and the players where mad about it…

Keep us informed: this is where the CM’s have dropped the ball imo, we don’t get any real information out of you from the forums, giving us spoilers and some stuff to hype us is great and i feel like you guys never ever tell us anything, not a single date, not a single piece of relevant information until it’s announced and since the team takes forever to iron the details we are left without info for long periods of times, even when we ask about it.
To end on a positive note, i really apretiate the work of CM’s answering post’s it just i would really like to see them answering questions and giving us info for real and not “soon”/Silence/etc.

i love that you are making jokes and i am not mad at all that you take stuff lightly and with humor, so i want to point out, the lighthearted nature of the post is not the problem.
The problem is you really think that silence generate hype and that is nuts… silence generate anger and frustration, ppl that want to make plans for certain things can’t make it and that just further make playing the game harder, should i make plans for next week to be able to play? or not? should i save materials or not… hype can be generated in multiple ways, this one is not it.
