Just read the upcoming notes for the patch on April 28th and i just can’t fathom why you are hurting players even more. I am seriously getting sick of player rewards getting removed due to your inability to fight the bots effectively. How much gold have legit players lost due to this? The more you remove these rewards the more you incentivize a player push towards RMT. This system is doomed to fail. Is this really the best you guys can come up with?
How about you remove the ability to generate gold from the more common items they sell? Say for instance make all honing mats account bound. This game is alt focused for funneling anyway. Then lower prices in Mari shop or increase amount of items per purchase to compensate and fuel increased honing ability while stimulating gold removal to combat inflation. The only other solution i could think of would be to account bound everything and that would male the AH useless and drive even hardcore players away.
I have to believe there is a better way to fight these bots. Your methods are punishing players while the bot users sit back and laugh and continue to make fools of you guys. Maybe is time to start actively using in game GM’s to real time ban?
Are IP/hardware bans and phone verification not possible to make creating new bot accounts harder due to spoofing?
I’m just tired of being screwed out of rewards and frankly every time i see this i have less desire to play let alone spend more money for things like skins, mounts, ark pass, etc… Hell i seriously thought about upgrading to the 2nd premium on ark pass till i saw this. As of now I am withholding any future purchases till you can come up with some better ideas. If my time and effort in the game are not rewarded I will take my money and move to a game the respects it better.
They removed t3 chest when they could have made the stuff from it bound to roster. At the end of the day, bound to roster will literally cut down bots running chaos dungeons, cubes etc. Removing bits and pieces here and there only hurt players in the long run. Wow they removed one source of gold while bots have 10 other sources. It literally doesn’t make a dent in their profits.
Yeah its getting ridiculous. They keep punishing their players for their lack of ability to control bots. Removing items from your actual customers because you don’t want to allocate resources to combat bots is a terrible decision. Not just the gems but continuously removing early gold sources from rapport and now world bosses too.
Does anyone know a website where I can buy gold? Oh wait, there are hundreds of bots advertising them.
