x3 is the best option because it removes the ability to confuse which direction people start with. Some people call it NESW. Some people call it NSEW, and so on. You get the idea. x3 removes that possibility completely. I’ll never understand why people use anything else but it. As for flares… I’ll use them or not use them as much as I want, noone will dictate that to me.

Really no way to enforce a system on anybody. You get a 10 minute penalty for leaving so most people wont be leaving. Also, if somebody has no flares and they don’t want to farm mats/open a chest for flares its not like they are going to skip doing their daily guardian over it.

The amount of different ways I’ve seen people ask about that vs. just calling it x3 amazes me everyday. It’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen.

1234 transposed to cardinal on a clock-face is 12 3 6 9 or top (N), right (E), bottom (S), left (W).
Now if you multiply then 1 starts on 3 etc. unnecessary really. 1 top then go clockwise… and still you have to ping for people to take positions

Lets say I’m number 1 in my group so by the x3 rule i start at 3 o clock. Or like my group does… 12 o clock. Does that mean i can’t split the arena in 12 parts like a clock? No! I still know where i have to go when someone says. Hey next phase… now you have to go to 2 o clock!
And the whole x3+1 or x3+2 thing? Could we just say 1 to the right or left etc.? Why make such a religion out of something so simple… Is it supposed to sound fancy?

The moment you try to clear complicated content in a pug is the moment you can be happy anyone is able to even read the clock, yet understand what x3+1 is…
Dunno, maybe its just a way to bit** about something else than bots etc. But this whole discussion is a joke. Take the 1-5 seconds to call at the beginning how your group deals with that isssue and watch a guide to know what to do. If thats to much for you to handle, you won’t survive a pug anyway xD

At least that way I am speeding up the process of doing 10 guardians a day. Which to me is worth.
I always flare too, I like it. I think people who say flares have no purpose are just lazy and maybe aren’t really gamers at heart. Flares create immersion. I heard Asmongold say that flares suck and have no purpose, but then when he’s in the situation, he uses them, so they clearly have a purpose.
There are real issues with this game, but flares are not one of them.
No flares, no pheromones, no dark bombs, rainbow stats, no engravings, poor skill choice with no runes, no rotation - “T2 guardian raids are taking too long to kill”
I always use flare on stupid maps like igrexion
But on yoho? No need.
When u go inside the map, you can see if it is the first zones from the zipline.
If its not there, that means is top.
Flare saves u 10 seconds.
10 seconds saved = 10g waste.

This is exactly it right here, cause last week we had to fill one person in our static and they could not understand the x3 so we went with nsew guess what, they still took the wrong spot lol during Argos one shot mechanic. We just laugh it up on discord.

??? he always runs away when he turns into phase 3 and as far as i am aware phases changes are based on % HP, which means you can’t skip that part (Based on experience of not running with a 100 ilvl higher group btw which would be a bad general advise anyways if thats the case), you probably never noticed people using pheromone and asumed it was normal for him to come back at the same spot lmfao.
Also what the hell do you need sacred scrolls for at igrexion, the slow does nothing to prevent you from damaging unless you don’t know when to properly use your dodges or gap closers and the dot isn’t even strong enough to kill you as a min ilvl.
Done Igrexion about 300 times with Pheromone and i don’t have a clue what you mean by him getting stuck? You people seem to play a different game
Past two weeks I think Pheromone usage went up by 500%. Atleast in EUC there’s a lot of people who started utilizing pheromones it’s good to see. Here and there you get the hoarders who refuse to even throw a flare but other than that the experience in Guardian raids improved by A LOT.

Ok? What is your point? Are you the person the person I replied to is talking about? Someone who goes into a raid and yells at other people to use battle items like pheromones and flares while never using them yourself? No? Then I don’t see your point.
Sacred scrolls definitely help out in matchmaking where people can’t/won’t even use flares and you expect them to use panacea? lol The dot definitely kills people who are at ilvl for the fight.
