I don’t understand why this x3 is a thing? Just confused as to what the benefit is rather then just doing 1234 nesw? The x3 is confusing to a lot of people in raids. Constant floor POV Argos. P1 especially.
Well most of NA players attitude was just ‘who care about flare and mechanic’. So, all I can say is you use it or just don’t use it

Wait, why would you use pheromone on Igrexion? I rarely see him run away before he’s dead and using sacred scrolls is going to help my team out far more than a pheromone.
You’re assuming zoomers know what an analog clock looks like. Most zoomers probably just have Siri tell them what time it is.

It’s actually bad to use Pheromone on him anyways because he gets stuck.
Only Guardian I know where using that item is a bad idea and can make the fight harder.
I have flares equipped but my number is 4. Guess I’m not using them.
I don’t know directions. I can barely distinguish left and right when I’m panic. But I do know the order of numbers on the clock.
I will typically use them on my bard, but not my alts (if they don’t have any)
and I have burned a lot of them in my time playing
solution: stay afk in spawn until someone flares or pings the boss
I see so it’s no benefit to using x3 it’s just a different way of direction that’s all. So peeps think clock is easier then nesw. Crazy thing tho I thought nesw is easier. just always know left - west. Right is East usually. If it’s a static map with top down view like in lost ark.

Yes it’s just easier for some. I immediately know exactly where 3 o’clock, 6 o’clock etc. is, but for directions, I have to stop and think.
That’s interesting tho because I never see anyone using directions here, only x3. I play on NA.

I play on NA West and it’s almost all compass headings which make more sense anyway. What is NE in clock directions? I’ve seen people say 1, I’ve seen people say 2, and it’s neither of these. Clock directions are a mistake.

x3 is the best option because it removes the ability to confuse which direction people start with. Some people call it NESW. Some people call it NSEW, and so on. You get the idea. x3 removes that possibility completely. I’ll never understand why people use anything else but it. As for flares… I’ll use them or not use them as much as I want, noone will dictate that to me.

Really no way to enforce a system on anybody. You get a 10 minute penalty for leaving so most people wont be leaving. Also, if somebody has no flares and they don’t want to farm mats/open a chest for flares its not like they are going to skip doing their daily guardian over it.

The amount of different ways I’ve seen people ask about that vs. just calling it x3 amazes me everyday. It’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen.

1234 transposed to cardinal on a clock-face is 12 3 6 9 or top (N), right (E), bottom (S), left (W).
Now if you multiply then 1 starts on 3 etc. unnecessary really. 1 top then go clockwise… and still you have to ping for people to take positions
