Friend banned, (likely) for funneling gold between his own accounts

thanks for the answers guys, appreciate it

Having a 2nd account is a bannable offense in of itself.

A CS member LITERALLY confirmed it outright that you will get banned for it, along with having a 2nd roster on a different server to funnel.

Mess around and find out it seems.

The practice of sending gold between accounts was always going to end tragically, it was just a matter of time before they started targeting RMTers doing it and everyone else would catch the same bans since they can’t really tell the difference. They did say you can’t have two accounts, though.

He had two accounts? That’s actually TOS and he admit to it T_T

yep, that’s against TOS.

Sending gold between 2 your accounts is forbiden, if he dont know rules it does not mean he does not have to respect them. Chances he will be unbanned are low close to 0, so he can start all over again( I doubt he will xd)

Having 2 accounts is ok, but sending gold/mats between them is against TOS

wouldn’t that be the same as having a friend send you their gold and materials though

No its not, but then everyone can that „good friend” so in both cases you can be banned. But dont act like child everyone know that they have tools to check if it same player or not :sunglasses:

idk, I don’t think is a bad thing itself, but my guess is that bots, scammers and whatnot can circumvent the downsides of bans so that they don’t lose their stuff.

Imagine getting scammed in Argos or valtan bus, the guy will probably send all that gold to a second account so that when the time comes and he get’s banned he still keeps the profit.

Although, probably the main reason, is because AGS would potentially lose money from ppl not buying character slot expansions and instead create alt accounts. That could be another reason.

never was, it’s against tos.

if i create a second account using vpn and play the second account only when using vpn or separate ip and mac address spoofer (if they collect that data), even though multiple people are allowed to have separate acc on the same computer and play from the same computer, how do you differentiate between friend and a person’s second account?

Why would you even make another account when you can literally just make “alt account” by playing on a different server?

I mean, having 2 accounts is not bannable, is trading between them that’s against TOS

The real question how do you know it was for that considering you do not get any details of a ban.

Just link the portion of the TOS and you’ll have facts.

I believe he can request his information from AGS and it’ll give him more details. I might have this incorrect though.

But I’m pretty sure I’ve seen a few posts about it. I’m just not 100% on the process.

Good. Been telling people for ages and they kept justifying with mental gymnastics.

They should keep banning anyone bypassing the one account limit. It’s extremely dumb that people are collecting gold on multiple accounts to funnel their main roster.

Some of these people will then justify how easy it is to be their item level while not spending much money. They should completely separate rosters while their at it so they can’t do this on one account too.

This was a CM post on it, but it looks like they’re not a CM anymore, but regardless s have responded to this on plenty of occasions and it’s one account per person.
