Friend who just started banned for RMT when I sent them gold to buy a skin

Hello,

Have been trying to convince my friend to play Lost Ark for weeks now and they finally caved in when I said I’ll get them a skin in the game if they start playing.
Yesterday they decided they wanted the Umar skin which was available for 20,000 on the auction house so I sent them 21100 to cover the tax so they could purchase it. They started 3 days ago and have logged 53.8 hours.

I have over 2,500 hours logged and have sent gold upwards to 50,000g to guild members before when they needed it to buy engravings/materials when they were cheap and we have never had any issues with “RMT” trading. Maybe since it’s a new account that received that amount of gold that it got flagged but the response is that this is RMT even though all the gold earnt is from legion raids and engraving drops. There is even a gifting system available in the stronghold now, is that the only way we can transfer gold to guild members nowadays?

@Roxx, is this considered RMT and a permanent bannable offense, gifting a friend a skin?

Their in game name is Saranthia and the appeal is CS-reply+ALUTE39YCOWNR

This is their response from the support system

Hey there @Toastmakesuhigh Welcome to the Lost Ark forum!

Unfortunately, forum staff has no access to the tools needed to review ban appeals or in-game penalties, the best and only way to appeal a ban is to create a Ban Appeal Ticket so that the moderation team can review the information. Please make sure you friend explains their situation in detail and add any helpful evidence to support their appeal in the ticket.

Hope this helps.
