So… I guess there is no longer a support chat so we just post in the public forum now, that’s cool. Anyway, I have a new account, just started playing. Did everything right according to steam’s end - spent the money, got steamguard for 15+ days, and have 2FA on my mobile. According to steam support, my account is good to go and there is nothing they can do, I have to contact lost ark. Now, I contacted lost ark, and lost ark support said I am not trusted by steam. So… wtf? Which is it?

it can take up to 30 days for steam’s system to get the information up to AGS.
Important note is, that you have “trusted” status by steam (= 5$ spent in the last 12 months & Steam Guard Authenticator) and you have to have Steam Mobile Guard active (not just 2fa, but the mobile authentification).
Thank you. As I said, I have done all of that in my post. Mobile 2FA. According to steam support, I AM trusted. But lost ark support says I am not.
If you have done everything all you can do is wait. This is not a system that AGS has manual access to. It can take a long time for some accounts. Like up to 3 months in some cases.
I mean that really doesn’t answer my question. I just want clarification about what it is that is the hold up. Is it actually a bug? Is it from steam, or is it on lost ark’s end? Or have I not done something that I can do. And I say this respectfully, but I am not posting on the forums to try to gain attention from other players; this was literally listed as a communication route with this game’s support team… so… here I am. Hello? Some support from your support please? AGS?

Believe it or not, I CAN read. I wouldn’t be doing this stupid forum business unless I was really desperate.
Well I may just be a player but I have been here since the beginning. At no point in time have any member of the CS team or CMs commented on this being a bug in the system.
They really don’t even reply to these threads anymore because no solution exists other than waiting once everything else has been done. Sorry to say but you are most likely out of luck here if you are waiting for someone from AGS to respond with a fix.
It is a flawed system. Unfortunately for the players there does not seem to be any specialized team maintaining or providing support for it.
You are one of hundreds if not thousands of players that are still waiting… most extreme case I saw was waiting for like 5 months. I think he ended up quitting the game shortly after he created one of these threads.
I mean homie 2 people already said that it can take time for it to update on lost arks side. In some cases it can be really quick or it can take 30 days or even 3 months. You just gotta wait now since you’ve done everything required. Only thing left is a bit of patience ![]()
