Game Crashes when Entering Rohendel

I powerpassed a Summoner to South Vern. I have completed the guide quest you get after a powerpass. I have been trying to enter Rohendel to set my Song of Return location, but every time I do the game locks up on the Lake Shiverwave screen and crashes. Is there something wrong with the South Vern Powerpass, Summoner, and entering Rohendel? I’ve had to contact support 2-3 to move my character (which I will need to do again).

Here is a detailed bug report

South Vern Powerpassed Summoner class Player Character unable to enter Lake Shiverwave

Details:

  1. Create a Summoner
  2. Use the South Vern Powerpass
  3. Complete the guide quest right outside the Adventurer Shelter in North Vern
  4. Sail or Ocean Liner to Rohendel > Lake Shiverwave port
  5. If you sailed to Lake Shiverwave, attempt to dock

Expected Behavior

The Lake Shiverwave load screen is presented and the player eventually loads into the Lake Shiverwave zone

Actual Behavior

The Lake Shiverwave load screen is presented indefinitely until the client crashes or the player force closes the client. On successive login atempts, player is presented with the Lake Shiverwave load screen indefinitely until client crash or the player force closes the client.

Impact

Player is unable to self-remediate. Technical Support has to intervene and move the player character to a different zone.

Workaround

None, requires Technical Support intervention

At the very least, Technical Support should be able to move the character into Lake Shiverwave or somewhere else in Rohendel. Even Vern would be nice. In all instances this happened (I tested it 3-4 times), Technical Support moved the character to Prideholme.

Follow-up: I decided to test this same scenario on my main, a bard who has never used any advancement systems (no powerpass, no knowledge transfer, she’s been hand-leveled). My bard is ALSO unable to enter Lake Shiverwave from docking with a ship or using an ocean liner. I believe there is something wrong with the zone itself. I’d recommend warning players against entering the zone using the ship dock or an ocean liner.
