Hi everyone,
I am posting here because I ran out of troubleshooting ideas and I would need some help. As the title says, since DX9 was removed (and forced dx11) from LA my crash crashes at very random moments without error messages. I have to kill the process and restart the game. It tends to be frustrating when it happens while raiding.
I have already contacted the (french) support via a ticket but they only gave me a LA link with some troubleshooting (that I already went through) and kinda told me that if I was not happy with the answer I could check with people on LA forums. below I will enumarate all the troubleshooting already tries and my PC specs.
Troubleshooting:
1/ I reduced all video settings to minimum and set full screen ingame
2/ Set ultimate and optimal powerplan
3/Verified that Windows 10 is up to date
4/removed all background apps (except for steam obviously) and Set a “clean startup”
5/Ran antivirus/malware scans
6/Verify that my GPU driver is updated and disabled graphic options that would reduce game performance
7/Verified that I had the lastest BIO driver
8/Disabled any aesthetic options on Windows that could use RAM
9/Updated/reinstalled/repaired Easy Anti Cheat (EAC)
10/Checked integrity of the game via Steam
11/Set antivirus exclusion of Steam, LA, and EAC folders
12/Verified that RAM usage does not reach 100% using Intelligent Standby List Cleaner
13/Verified temperatures and changed thermal paste
14/Verified that the latest version of DirectX is installed and compatible with my PC.
15/Closed every apps while playing (navigator, discord, skype, etc…)
16/Verified that my GTX GPU is used/forced while playing LA and not the onboard Intel.
I have might have tried more troubleshooting that I forgot since only DX9 + fullscreen previously fixed those random crashes.
