Since Reaper update came live my game freezing during loading screen and then I have to close the game from Task Manager and start over again. Wednesday it froze 11 times, thursday another 7 and today already 2 times in 10 minutes since opened the game for first time. Anyone else having his game freeze and crush? I know people get disconnected but i don’t. Maybe this crushing is a problem created just to my client?
It also crushed when I went for a legendary map rotation and lost total participation and the map as well…
There are a few similar issues here and there in the forum but a lot less than the disconnections.
So far nothing has fixed it for me.
It happens often in loading screens (specifically guardian raids) : bar stuck at 70~80%, game is stuck and eventually i have to close it from task manager. Is it similar to your issue ?

Yes, happens mostly when switching characters, but also before engaging any type of raids.
From what I have checked so far, it seems from memory leaks in the client.
I have changed to directX9 and full-screen mode, it’s been stable so far (30 minutes).

Just had this happen to me too.
Had plenty of disconnects (which is not fixed as that happened a few minutes ago too) but this loading screen freeze is new to me.

Update: The solution is definetly not long term, had a few random crashes (game closes suddenly) and guardian raids are still not possible.
