Game has frozen screen twice and crashed once, first major issues playing daily, in the past two days

Froze on loading screen to Frozen Sea yesterday, could hear my pet though. Crashed with a server disconnect earlier today loading into Anguished Isle. Hours later frozen on load in screen to Anguished Isle just now, could hear my pet making noises again. Ive recently switched to Dx9 last week, was putting EAC on low priority, have downloaded old DX stuff and repaired windows in between last night and today, verified steam integrity allll that stuff.
Reporting major performance drops, and hard lock freezing and actual crashing. Played daily for like a month straight not one issue other then server lag which was fixed and semi-moderate freezing/stutters loading into 30 man content/fields. Now im constantly freezing looping, have horrible fps and general performance, and freezing just in guardian raids. Not sure whats up, kinda just posting this as feedback

Here are some steps you can follow to try to resolve your issue:

Ensure your video drivers are up to date. To determine which video card you have:

  1. Press Windows + R, type “dxdiag” into the Run window, and then press Enter.
  2. Click the Display tab and you can see information about your video card under the Device section.

To update your video drivers:

Set Windows power settings to High Performance. If your computer power profile isn’t set to High performance, it could be throttling performance.

To access Power Options in Windows:

  1. Press Windows + R, type “powercfg.cpl” into the Run window, and then press Enter.
  2. Select the radio button next to the High performance power plan. You may need to click Show additional plans first.

Adjust your in-game video settings.

  1. If you’ve loaded into the world, press Escape, then Settings, and Video.
  2. Select Auto Settings, to have the system select the optimal graphics settings for your computer.
  3. If these changes do not resolve your issue, select All, and manually lower resolution settings until the lag issue is resolved.

Clean boot Windows to reduce startup applications/Check for Malware. Try clean booting into Windows:

Follow the instructions at How to perform a clean boot in Windows. Clean booting into Windows prevents any unnecessary programs or services from starting up, and can help narrow down the cause of your issues. If you continue to have trouble after performing a clean boot, it’s safe to assume that background programs and services aren’t the root cause, and you can go back to your normal startup.

Check for malware:

Malware can cause many adverse effects on your computer. These effects vary widely depending upon the type and purpose of the malware, but high resource usage can be one of the symptoms, which could directly impact your gaming experience. Go to Windows Start search bar and type dxdiag.
Click on dxdiag.exe.
When green progress bar goes away, select Save All Information and save the file to their desktop.
