So the game is currently unplayable for me on EU Ealyn.
Yesterday and today in a time frame of 30 minutes in total I had about 6 game freezes, first five ones in South Vern Chaos Dungeon 2 and once in Deskaluda now.
The game seems to hang with the backgrounds sounds and music still playing, but the picture is stuck and battle sounds are gone, too. Waiting doesn’t help and the only way for me to exit the game is through Task Manager. I haven’t updated any drivers or changed anything about my PC hardware and software ecosystem. Any ideas?
LHello @axestheguitarist !
I see that this is your first post, Welcome to the forums!
I’m sorry to hear about your game freezing since yesterday. I see how this can be quite a disappointing gaming experience! Let me try and offer some troubleshooting so that you can return to a normal Lost Ark experience!
First off, we always recommend that you start with Verifying Files Integrity:
In order to to that, go to your Steam Library and Right Click on the Lost Ark Title > Properties > Go to the Local Files Section > Then run the “Verify integrity of game files” check. If this does not work, please reinstall the game and check if it solves the issue.
Additionally, you’ll be able to find some more performance issues troubleshooting using this resource:
Additionally, if these fail to resolve the issue, I’d recommend that you go ahead and Contact Us | Amazon Games so that one of our colleagues can help you raise a web ticket catered to your specific issue. May ask for your Game Logs and DxDiag file, which you can retrieve by following these steps:
Instructions for generating a DXdiag : Open and run DxDiag.exe 2 (Open and run DxDiag.exe - Microsoft Support).
Instructions for finding the in-game logs:
- Press Windows+R on the keyboard, type %appdata% and press enter.
- Open the most recent file from this folder: /AppData/local/AGS/LogBackups.
- Paste the contents of the file into your message.
I hope this information helps.
Thank you for your patience! farewell!
Thank you so much. I’ll try the aforementioned steps and will get back to support if nothing helps.
Tldr : If you have AMD gpu downgrade drivers to july or august 2022
Thanks! I’m on Nvidia though, having issues with drivers a lot (DPC latency) but changed nothing driver related before yesterday’s session.
OK, so it seems there’s an unrelated issue going on here since I just had a similar freeze on the desktop with only a YouTube video playing.
